My son, daughter and I were there to attend a wedding. First impressions of the hotel were that it had a relaxed aura. It was not a large hotel which suited me. Pluses: A relaxed vibe, very close to the sea (about 20m?), the nearest town, Vrboska, was a delight and you could take a water taxi or a 15 minute truly lovely walk. Lots of boats moored in the bay so the outlook was pretty. We found lots to do as we're active and therefore we did paddle boarding and kayaking. There are also tennis courts. My son went cliff diving. Dom, the local owner of the beach bar, could not do enough for everyone and nothing was too much trouble. Now the downsides: The hotel wasn't as luxurious as I had expected and the bedrooms were small, so I was a little disappointed in that respect. Although it stated a sea view, in fact, you can only see glimmers of the sea through the trees. The swimming pool area needs sorting out (not enough sunbeds) as there needs to be some sort of landscaping, but mostly we spent our time at the beach (public), near the restaurant/bar. This did mean you had to pay for sunbeds though, at £5/day. There was an inflatable park in the sea for the children - which I didn't like but children would! All in all, the place grew on me more and more every day. The water was as clear as glass. We could have found plenty to do if we had been there longer. I loved every moment, but if you're not active, then it is a very quiet (I would say, serene) place.
