Över förväntan
Perfekt hotell om man vill övernatta nära flygplatsen. Stort rymligt rum, bra service och mat. Skjuts till och från flygplatsen ingår i priset.

Fint rum men restaurangen sådär
Vi hade ett jättefint rum! Restaurangen hade saker på menyn som var slut vilket ställde till det för min vegetariska pojkvän. Vid frågan om de kunde göra äggröra istället så var det en mycket konstig fråga som de var tvungna att kolla upp och tog väldigt lång tid men löstes. Området är inte mysigt men det är Johannesburg..

Was just there a few hours because of my flight was delayed. The location of this hotel is close to the airport and they had a picup that was waiting for me when I arrived at the airport and dropt me of again.

Was little surprised by the fence and the gate, but assume it is needed for guests safety in the area. Service was wary good, fast check in and out, dinner an breakfast were good

Välorganiserat och trevligt ställe.
Vid ankomsten visades vi runt hela hotellområdet av trevlig personal. Stort rum med värmeelement, vilket behövdes denna tid på året. Den inkluderade frukosten var toppen. Vi åt även middag där. Flera rätter fanns på menyn. Transport kan ordnas till shoppingcentrum.

The place is clean, safe and staff very friendly. I was in room 14 and there's no air con in that room. It was freezing but eventually the lady brought a portable heater!

Lovely property. Quiet and hidden away. Catered to all needs. Short term stay. Was able to extend stay without any problem. Staff friendly and accomodating. .Property safe. No AC, guest amenities though.

One to Avoid
The lodge is located in a dodgy area. We did not feel safe and there was loud music from neighbouring businesses. We were disturbed by loud talking and noise from adjoining rooms. It is run down and needs maintenance. The pool was not clean, the carpets tired and dirty. The DStv program bouquet is very limited and there were no guest supplies other than liquid soap. The bathroom was spacious and clean, but the towels were old and frayed. The pillows were past their useful life. The curtains were opaque and in poor repair. The shuttle service to the airport was excellent. This is not a keeper for us and we were disappointed that Hotels.com carries properties like this one on its books.

Old, motel like "lodge", with nice service
The "lodge" is more like an old motel, with 2 thatched roof buildings that make it look lodgy on the photo's. The area Kempton park isn't great and the lodge is quite old, the building, the furniture, everything is old. The service was quite good, with a prompt pickup and dropoff service tot the airport and the employees were nice. If i had realised the area which it is in I would not have booked it.

Topp für eine Nacht Dank kostenlosem Shuttle
Bequeme Betten, super hilfsbereites Personal. Die einfachsten Zimmer sind etwas spartanisch. Gutes Frühstück. Man hört die Flugzeuge relativ laut. Für eine Nacht gut, weil der Shuttle zum abholen und bringen inklusive ist.

The service was excellent. We were there for a short layover and would highly recommend it for something like that. They were very accommodating and it was so nice to have the free shuttle from/to the airport.

Everything was fine but the disappointment was no evening meal that we used to look forward to. Hope they can restore that soon. We had a take-away instead and the dining room was set for us. Thanks for that.

Personal friendly service. Tomle picked me up promptly from airport, helped me make safari arrangements and provided a warm atmosphere. Everyone there was nice, friendly and helpful.

We didn’t like being scammed saying we hadn’t paid for breakfast when we had. Room was dark and dingy. Best thing was the two girls who waited breakfast tables. Good breakfast. Airport driver was good. Front desk clerk needed to be able to listen,

The staff were very friendly and very helpful. The atmosphere is casual. At this time there is no lunch or dinner service. The breakfast options are limited but it is easy for vegetarians to have a good breakfast. There is a continuing problem with "power shedding" in Johannesberg. This occured at least twice a day. At this time, the property has to use a generator for power which ensures there is power to, keep the lights on. so to speak. Unfortunately, there is no internet at this time. They have a vehicle with driver who was available to take us to and from the airport, or out for a meal. The area was quiet except for the fact, it was under the flight path of planes taking off. We thoroughly enjoyed out stay here.

Ohhh, this place is SO FANTASTIC!! The way it's set up made me feel like my safari had already begun...in the middle of Johannesburg and close to the airport!!! I love everything about it, the friendly staff, the 24 hour coffee set up, the bungalow-type rooms. I stayed there twice, and if I ever go to SA again, there's no other place I'd stay!! Highly, highly recommended!!!

This place is so fantastic! It's just as great as the photos make it seem! Before a safari in Kruger, I stayed in a regular room, and after the safari I stayed in the log cabin! Try to get the log cabin if you can!! Everyone is very friendly, and it's got all mod cons! Highly recommended!!
