You get what u pay for..
This is a B&B, heating in the rooms not enough to keep rooms warm during wintertime (May-Sep). I did not feel 100% safe in my room and early mornings staff was discussing, arguing close by and one could hear exactly everything as walls are super thin!

Great hotel near the airport
Great hotel near the airport. Perfectt stay to catch a flight next day. Clean, comfortable beds and dinner and breakfast were great. Staff friendly and excellent service.

A short drive from the airport and a great place if you are transit. Airport pick up, nice clean room, comfortable beds, very friendly staff, dinner at a reasonable price - and their extra strong cappuccino is very good.

Bra och prisvärt nära flygplatsen
Vi hade en övernattning då vi kom från Kruger-parken och skulle flyga vidare till Port Elizabeth. Bra och prisvärt hotel nära flygplatsen med gratis shuttle service till flygplatsen. Ligger I ett tråkigt område, men om man bara ska övernatta som vi gjorde så är det idealiskt.

Nära Joburg flygplats
Alldeles utmärkt men svinkallt. Det beror väl dock på tradition och kultur i södra Afrika. Alla hus är oisolerade, utan värme. Då blir det kallt under den kalla årstiden. Det är kanske lika illa på alla andra hotell?

I made a short visit to Jo-burg for buisness purposes. I stayed two nights at Sunrock guesthouse. The room was very nice and clean, comfortable bed. I enjoyed breakfast and dinner, both well cooked and the staff was really nice and helpful. It is close to OR Tambo airport which was good.

From the pickup at the airport until I was dropped off again the next day, everything was very good. The cleanliness, friendly and helpful staff, amazing breakfast, and the clever and tasteful decorating, all added up to to “5 plus”. It is a definite go-to!

Very close to O. R. Tambo International Airport, and has free shuttle for pick up . The staffs there are very friendly and helpful. Room is clean, Very satisfied with their Breakfast ( included )and dinner ( around US$17/pp ). Will definitely stay at Sunrock again next time when we in Johannesburg

Just needed the room to freshen up and relax before a evening flight for a few hours. Property looks like a little oasis. Perfect for what we needed it for. Staff was very nice and shuttle to airport was awesome. Took only 5-10 min to get to airport.

It was close to airport and their rides to/from airport were essential for us. We loved the breakfast, gardens, the grounds and staff was friendly. The room was comfortable. Most people like to sleep in very cool air, however I was pretty cold and had to wear extra clothes to bed. We couldn't get the room any warmer. This stay was during winter season. Overall, the brief stay was just fine!

I’ve stayed at sun rock on 3 separate occasions and every visit is like being home away from home.Arthur and Ina and their staff, take great pride and effort into providing a homely style accommodation. From pick up to drop off the service is beyond compare.

I have stayed at this location many times. I enjoy the locally owned lodge type setting vs. "hotel". They are extremely organized with transfers to and from the airport. They look out for your safety. In my case, I arrived late. Arriving as a solo traveler they changed their normal pick up site to to pick me up closer to the main doors. They really look out and accommodate for their clients. I have stayed here.

Fixed menu buffet dinner was offered. At 7pm the soup was finished and not replenished and also some vegetables. The grilled pork chops were hard and dry. The guesthouse was full so quantity of food was badly miscalculated
