it was affordable, room was small and should have been cleaner, the closets werent properly cleaned. wifi was non-accessible 50% of the time. kitchen not so clean. but staff was helpful. kipara is a little bit outside airlie but much easy to connect with bus.

Uncomfortable rusty old chairs stacked together as there was no room for them at the table at the end of the bed. Lifted up the pillow on the bed and it was smothered in ants. Grabbed the other pillow and it had blood stains on the pillow case. Insect spray was provided so sprayed ants but the second night woke with more ants. Surroundings outside very pretty amongst the trees and table and chairs outside provided a relaxing space to eat that inside didn’t provide.

Nice place but quite remote and taxi service is ordinary so walked nearly 20kms for the day. Good for the price though

Got a small but extremely clean and comfortable renovated room which we loved! The communal kitchen was clean and well equipped. A bit outside of the hustle of Airlie Beach so a car is required. Staff was friendly and helpful, perfect communication. Would recommend to everyone!

The unit I had is beginning to show its age with a yellowish toilet tank cover and flooring in the bathroom that is a bit tired. Other than the cosmetics, everything works and is very clean. The staff are great, it has an excellent cooking area with very good commercial equipment. The units are prefabricated steel buildings which are visually pleasing. My bed was great, the linens were great, and overall I would return in a heartbeat. I stayed 4 nights. The rates were very reasonable. The complex is a bit confusing at they own two properties, the first is nearest town, and the second is 100 m further down the road where their reception/office area is located. My accommodation was in the second complex.

Wonderful property you do need a car even thou it’s only 5 mins away as it is hilly so unless your really fit you can’t walk to the main stretch and beach, we stayed in the new cabin which was wonderful

This was really good value for money as a single traveller I didn't really want to stay in a hostel and here I got a single room for a really great price, including air con, fridge and private bathroom, good wifi, and tv. The only downside is it is a 30min walk into town but there is a bus stop just a 3min walk away and they come very regularly, the bus drivers are super friendly too. Actually everyone in Airlie beach is super friendly, I would definitely come back.

Gute, hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption, aber die Unterkunft ist ein Plastik-Container, der nicht sauber war. Tote Käfer im Schrank. Extrem hellhörig. Einfachste Ausstattung. Man konnte vom Nachbar-Raum alles mithören. Sehr unangenehm und schlechtes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis

not a retreat and not a resort low budget dirty and uninviting Stayed 10 nights and from the first day was not happy with the accommodation, old outdated and dirty. There was no free wireless internet (no internet at all), a dirty greasy BBQ and nothing that resembled a camp kitchen. Pool area was not very inviting and the so called gardens were unkept and messy with palm fronds, leave litter and obstacles everywhere. For the 10 days i was there i was not offered or had access to fresh towels, bedding, toilet paper, or linen. room cleaning or service was not at all available. The beds were old uncomfortable and small and resembled a bed you would find in a prison. The Kitchenette was old dirty rusty and unhygienic. The bathroom and shower mouldy and dirty. I do not recommend this accommodation to my worst enemy and I think the accommodation at the boarding kennels were my dog stayed while I was on holiday is far better than this.

Here at Kipara we are a budget accommodation centre, however, this should not take away from your enjoyment of our property. We are undergoing some major renovations here at the property and hope this has not impacted on your stay with us. Unfortunately, we cannot change the age of some of our older accommodation although we are in the process of introducing new accommodation and tidying up our older accommodation. Regarding the gardens, as you can see we have many palm tree's, we clean up the yards every morning and the pool, however within a small time frame palm fronds can keep falling throughout the day. Regarding your housekeeping, my apologies. I wish you had come to see us earlier within your stay with us and approached us with any concerns you had and if you required any refreshments. We are here to help, I'm sorry that you didn't come in and see us at the Reception area with your worries.With this in mind I hope that you will give us another chance to make a future stay with us more memorable.Regards,Jess MackieManagement
