Not clean
The toilett was not working in the room. Cleaning service invisible and even when asking at the front desk to get help with the cleaning and toilett nothing happened. Had to ask for it 3 times to get it done.

Prisvärt fint boende
Bra hotell med fri parkering, frukost, wifi och skyttelbuss in till stan. Har även en fin pool. Vänlig personal.

Perfekt semester
Perfekt läge och bra service med trevlig personal. Vi hyrde cyklar en dag. Vi tog shuttelbussen in till stan en annan dag så vi kunde låta bilen stå under hela vår vistelse. Hängmattan utanför rummet uppskattades av sonen. Det enda jag saknade var bättre belysning i rummet samt fler elkontakter. Vi återkommer gärna.

Thanks for the review! As we are an older property, one of the issues we face is that in 1956 not as many outlets were needed as we do now!

It is a fine resort. I like sea turtles, parrots, sharks in the facility. The staff registered me is professional but is not nice to me and my wife, giving us feeling that they just want our money. But overall we like the resort.

The price I paid for the hotel was too much in comparison with the hotel's overall quality. The front desk gave me excellent service. On the other hand, breakfast wasn’t good. In addition, early in the morning, around 6 a.m., there were too many noises from the maintenance people of the hotel, laughing and talking super loud. The trash in the hotel had been smelling horrible for two days. The location of the hotel is good and accessible to other places, and I liked the transportation service.

The only reason why I gave the property a rating of four for the staff and services was for the services available not the staff.. the staff was awesome but the services they offered.. kayaking.. golf cart rentals and bikes was not available are whole stay

We had a great stay. We were right on the bay. We enjoyed the views from our patio. There were patio chairs and hammocks provided. We also enjoyed watching the birds and iguanas walking around our patio area. We fed sharks at the Stoned Crab restaurant which is connected to the property. We also rented a golf cart right at the hotel and spent a fun day driving around Key West. They also rent jet skis (tours), kayaks (Lighted night tour), and pedal bikes. I liked that they offered so many things to do right from the hotel. The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. The pool was also nice. Good music playing and drinks available at the bar right next to the pool area. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

I have mixed feelings about my stay at the Ibis Bay Resort. First off it is one of the more reasonably priced accommodations in Key West. They have great amenities, such as their large clean pool, free continental breakfast and free transport to and from old town. You can also rent golf carts, scooters, bicycles, and they offer a few different tours. Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed with our room. We booked the queen bed courtyard room on the 2nd floor. They did a lovely job decorating the tiny room but the room was extremely damp and smelly. The carpet was old and most likely the cause of the smell. The air conditioning system ran continuously and was very loud. The venetian blinds let in a lot of light from the outside hallway and didn’t provide much privacy at night. In order to fit our luggage, we moved the patio chairs and bistro table to the outside hallway. This is an old motel that has been nicely decorated but requires a lot more than paint to bring it up to modern standards. So would I stay here again? Maybe, but I would definitely upgrade to a larger room on the main floor with an ocean view.

Really nice place to stay in Key West but was highly disappointed for having to pay a $50 resort fee in addition to the total Expedia payment .. still not sure I didn't get ripped off 😕

Our room had the two double beds with the deck on the bay. The outside area was great. The room had termites really badgered, it’s an older room and it showed. Not complaining our stay was fantastic, I could have just lived outback!

Stayed 1 night . Booked small room for my husband and I . Room size okay but shower was Tiny…. Air conditioner went on and off all night . It was nice to have driver there to take us downtown and pick us up . Pool area nice . I feel it was expensive for what we got .

I was disappointed with the hotel. The walls are extremely thin so you can hear everything in adjacent rooms, alarms at 5:30am, conversations, etc. The floors of the room were also dirty and the bathroom is small. I mean very small. The staff was lovely. I would say the pool and the staff were the best part of the hotel. And the complimentary shuttle bus to old town Key West. That was convenient. If it had been cheaper I might not have been so disappointed but for what I paid for 4 nights, it was not worth it.

Nice old-school motel, really. The rooms are what you'd expect 40-50 years ago. Nice and clean, but not really up to modern standards. It's a charming place, and fun to stay. They've built a little beach on the water that you can relax on, but not really swim because it's shalliow and the bottom is mostly mud and seaweed. There's a swimming pool, but just more or less a nice back-yard pool. The Stone Crab Restaurant is on-site, but pretty expensive. The free breakfast is just average.

Ibis Bay was a wonderful place to stay! The entire staff was friendly and very helpful. It was clean. Our room opened up on the beach side through a slider there was a a small patio with two chairs and a table. There was also our own hammock right there. The food in the restaurant was excellent and they offered an extensive continental breakfast at no extra charge. It was a great place to stay and we will be back

The weather was beautiful. The pool at the resort was well maintained. The staff were all friendly. I loved the parrots and tortoises. The private beach was perfect for rock and shell finding. The room was very quaint but nice for a short stay. The resort was nicely located near restaurants and other attractions. It was also a short walking distance from some of the more popular tourist destinations. The resort itself offered many reasonably priced activities/accommodations. The shark feeding for FREE was amazing!!! I would definitely visit again :)

Best thing about our stay at Iris bay beach resort was the bay view from our room. It’s a colorful property with a large parrot, turtles etc. Unfortunately the first room we got had termite dust which left a bad impression about the management. But they did agree to change the room.

A great, fun resort. We stayed in a Bay View room, which was pretty and had a great space with plentiful hammocks and chairs to relax and enjoy the view. Rooms are clean, with comfy beds. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is easy access to fun activities in Key West, including a shuttle into the downtown area, which is super convenient. The continental breakfast could use a few more options (i.e. additional drink choices, such as juices, and a few more food items would be nice). Otherwise, this is a great place and we would stay here again.
