Old dead cockroaches in the lamp shade, doors hard to open and close, they didn’t change the bedding while we were their towel holder fell off the wall. The landscaping was in poor condition weeds taller than the bushes. Pictures on the website must have been taken when the place was first built. Room looked nothing like the pictures

Quality Inn seems to have outsourced their customer interaction. I really hated having a virtual check in with someone from another country/location, via a computer terminal. Add on top of that, this motel is in need of serious TLC. Any recent upgrades (the tile flooring) was poorly done and there are signs of sloppy construction in every corner. The bathtub was not inviting and we elected not to use it. The bed had bleach stains on the comforter, a dead bug in the middle as we entered and was the most uncomfortable set of springs I have ever attempted to sleep on. We ended our stay early as a result of all of this. Spend the extra few dollars to stay elsewhere.

The room is not clean the door to the connecting room is covered in mold. The check in with kiosk was ok but never received anything on the wifi password the lobby smelled like weed. The rooms need to be updated and a deep clean of everything. I will never stay here again.

I liked that it was on the beach. I did not like the group of party going teens that were allowed to rent rooms and drink, scream, shoot off fire crackers until 2 am. I complained to the front desk, my husband did again 2 hours later. We were using this spot as a layover before our 10 hour drive home, after driving 8 hours to get here. The facilities were worn out and needed serious updating. Bathroom door had dirty hand prints and wouldn't close completely.

We did I late check in due around midnight with our toddler twins. Front desk man was so amazing and understanding. Please was so clean and our room had so much space to stick our pack and plays up. I loved I can walk out of the room and hear the water. That morning we took the kids to the beach and went home. Loved it was that close we didn’t have to pack up right away. I’m staying there again. Hope next time to little people.

the young lady who checked us in was rather rude, just brushed off my question. while there is an elevator, its at the front side of the building and if you get oceanside, you have to hike the green mile to the other end, very inconvienient. the place needs an updating, the toilets are or children not adults and the bathtub is unsafe, very slippery. unless they do some improvements i will not stay here again.

We checked in and were given keys to a room, however the room was not clean, beds not made. The toilet wasn’t flushed much less clean. When we went to front desk to change rooms, we were told we could only have a room with double beds. The room smells terrible. I would not recommend this location.

It was run down, dirty and the beds made weird metal springs noises everytime you moved. We had a ocean view but the window was so dirty it had not been washed in a long time. The tv remote only worked if you were standing at the tv. We were supposed to stay 2 nights and bailed after one and went to another hotel.

There was a paint roller and brush on the floor. and a paintroller pan w.paint in it on the toilet. The room smelled of fresh paint. There was an electric drill on the bathroom counter as well as the bathroom door knob. I dialed 0 to let the front desk know but no1 answered. The next morning, 8am I man tried to barge in, didnt knock, had a keycard. Luckily I had the swing lock on. I didnt go to the door, he didnt knock again. 9am he did the same thing. I answered the door. He apologized, spanish speaking so broken english and let me know he needed to come in to install a new door knob. I let him, and his little dog. 10min and they left. Not impressed, but whatever.

The building is in desperate need of updating. The picture listed on the webpage was not this facility. The grout in the tub was black. Door to balcony would hardly open or lock. The only elevator was at one end of the motel and the furtherest from the more expensive rooms. Had to walk up to 3rd floor. Did not care for the kiosk check in. The employee on the kiosk was very nice but prefer an actual person. I will not stay here again.

#1. Did not like having to check in on a kiosh mach. Hard to understand. Bed slept wonderfully. Did not like having to pay a large security deposit which I was not told about before hand. They charge everybodya large security deposit and it is 4 to 5 days after checkout that your get your refund. They are using our $'s at no cost to them. I will search for a place that does not do this.. After checking my bank account after 5 working days, I find they charged an additional amount that I did not know about. I did not do any damage to their room but looks like they withheld some. *'m 81 and do not tear people's property up.

Worst experience of life
First it started with room floor being horrible and smelling. Then later we figured bathroom door does not lock and makes screeching noise everytime we open or close. We stayed in room 119. When we slept the bed started making noise and then in the middle night, neighbors were screaming and talking. They had dogs barking. We went and told them to stop but they did not even after telling. We wanted to go to reception but we were scared they had gun. So we called front office and it went to voicemail so we contacted hotels.com representative and she tried and was unsuccessful too. So we just bares it for hour. Lastly in the morning, we saw live bed bugs moving in the bed and that’s it, we vacated immediately and washed all the clothes by staying in between somewhere else.. I am also pregnant and 6 months through. I won’t leave this matter here

Lady at checkin was really nasty. Other staff I encountered were pleasant and helpful. Was charged a $5 booking fee. Nothing mentioned by Expedia or on hotel's website. Had large cockroaches crawling through room. I have been coming to Outer Banks for 33 years. Haven't seen bugs like that here before. Lots of ryst on metal in the rooms. Handles, hinges, etc.
