Hotel perfect for Golf turism
Very nice stay over 7 nights. Very good breakfast for golfers and nice room with enough space for 2 golfers. Free parking and nice Pub and restaurant serving good food to resonable prices.

Helt ok men omodern spa/golfresort
Hotellet ligger nära motorvägen M90 som man kan ta till Iverness, Edinburgh, Perth eller Dundee. Rummet var lite mysigt men kändes väldigt omodernt. Duschen hög jämn temperatur tills man ska stänga av vattnet, då följde blandaren med och det blev chockande varmt/kallt. Rummet hade också lövtunna dörrar då man hörde korridoren väl. Det luktade lite damparfym när vi kom men det vädrade vi ut första dagen. I sin helhet så var vistelsen bra med ett lugnt och fint område men med en väldigt omordern känsla och de anställda mest går på rutin.

Obviously an older style property, which showed its age, but not to its detriment, nice large rooms, bathroom had obviously been updated to include a walk-in shower which helps us older persons, my only complaint is that a grab handle should be fitted for the benefit of an older prerson. Food was a bit expensive, fish 'n chips at 17 pounds was a bit extreme although it was not bad but not great.

Great Value Hotel .Nice claen Spacious Room.Friendly Staff. Easy car Parking.Easy acces to Golf courses if not onsight as advertised. They are just a short walk across the road. Food was Excellent.My only negative and I'm being picky.the restaurant wasnt open on the night so had to Eat in Jocks Bar.Thus wasnt a problem but when i phoned to Book avtable in the Restaurant i was never told it was closed.Also this was never mentioned at check in. Overall we will return as we did gave a enjoyable night. Especialy the atmosphere mainly down to a visiting parties Quiz organised by the Hotel .

Real value for money
Really pleased with the size of room, with sofa, really comfortable beds. The food was delicious, and an excellent breakfast. Real value for money.

Overnight stay
The best part of the stay was in jocks bar where we were served by two very professional and nice young lads. They are a credit to the place and this is how things should be done. Well done.

Overnight Stay
We enjoyed our dinner in Jock’s Bar and the service was excellent. The hotel is tired, but the “wet paint” notices are on show. So the signs of improvement are there. The Green is a good base for a visit to lovely Kinross or a gig in the Backstage venue behind the hotel. Even with these challenges, we’ll almost certainly be back

Rooms are very tired and not clean. The carpet needed a good vacuum especially around the skirting boards.

This is a lovely hotel. Food was exceptional in both the dining room and breakfast lounge. Staff were terrific. There is easy bus access to/from Edinburgh. I would recommend it.

Poor Poor Poor!
Would not recommend!! , I was given a room which had a view of old furniture and appliances not to mention a cracked window, mould around the bath and foid debris (cake) behind the kettle / table. I was moved to another room with no lighting just two working lamps (36) curtains which did not meet in the middle, damp stains on the ceiling and rotted coving along with mould around the bath. The building is lovely but really tired and used. The carpets in common areas and stairs are thread bare and patched together with gaffer tape. On a positive the food and breakfast was ok. Not repeat Not worth the money, choose somewhere else.

Well worth the money
It was very enjoyable. A warm welcome and staff very helpful. We had an evening meal very well presented and filling. Breakfast was very filling and set us up for the day.
