A stay with exceptional service and comfort
Our stay at Bandara Resort and Spa as a couple was exceptional. We stayed in a Grand Pool Villa, which provided us with the perfect blend of luxury and tranquility. The location of Bandara was perfect, with a nice big but calm beach and walking distance to fishermen village which hade a nice night market and good restaurants. What truly stood out was the exceptional service that all of the staff gave us during our stay. A big star to Kitti who helped us with bookings of day trips to explore the island of Ko Samui and giving us helpful tips on what to do. The restaurant was also very good with a big breakfast buffet which had everything you need. The staff was very friendly and made us try new food which was very good. Also, as the restaurant was just by the sea it was a beautiful view from it. The cleaning of the room was also very good which made the stay perfect. Overall, in our view, a perfect stay that we will remember and hopefully come back to in the future.

Helt fantastisk vistelse på Bandara. Underbar personal, väldigt god mat och frukostbuffé. Läget med flera olika pooler och bra sängar på beachen, till och med sängarna och kuddarna var bra. Gymmet luftkonditionerat med olika maskiner samt 4 löpband vilket vi nyttjade varje dag. Så hit åker vi gärna tillbaka!

Helt perfekt Hotell, vi hade ett rum med Plunge Pool o det är helt privat och insynsskyddat. Ligger jättebra på stranden o fin o mysig restaurang o ca 100-200m till Fishermans village

Fantastic and as close to 5stars as it gets!
Large with several pools, good food, friendly staff, clean rooms and next to the beach but still not far from downtown! What more do you need.

Bra hotell med bra läge till det mesta!
Bra läge med fin strand och promenadavstånd till Fishermans village med shopping, restauranger och nattliv. Hotellet har däremot sett sina bästa dagar och är lite slitet. Luftkonditioneringen låter väldigt mycket vilket gör det något svårt att sova på natten. Men, mycket bra service och trevlig personal som gör vistelsen positiv. Spontant 3+ snarare än 4 stjärnor med tanke på att upprustning av rummen krävs. Lite trist att hotellet tar ganska mycket betalt för mat och spa jämfört med vad man kan få genom att gå över gatan till konkurrerande spa och restauranger. Tror de förlorar en hel del på det jämfört med om de hade lagt sig på samma nivå.

Fantastiskt hotell om du bara vill koppla av. Frukostbuffén var inget till vår besvikelse inget vidare och wi-fi på rummet fungerade väldigt långsamt. Men till sin helhet ett bra hotell!

Relaxing stay at beautiful hotel
The hotel grounds (gardens), pools, beach, spa and beach restaurant are all wonderful. Good location close to Fishermans village. The bophut beach has coarser sand compared to other nearby beaches. Spa is amazing and recommended, as are the hotel's massages by the beach. Beware that superior rooms are noisy from the street (although the view is nice)! You need to book a deluxe if you don't want to sleep with earplugs (which we did and was ok)

Mycket bra hotell beläget i relativt lugnt område. Riktigt fina rum och, fantastisk trädgård från hotellet ner till stranden. Poolerna var riktigt fina!!! Det enda som kan anses negativt är att mat och dryck var förhållandevis dyrt jämfört med "stan". Måste och tillägga att personalen var grymt proffsiga och serviceminded.

Mycket bra läge med gång avstånd till fisherman village med bra restaurangutbud. Missa inte restaurang barracuda som har fantastisk mat till en bra peng. Stranden är ok men om man vill ha pudervit sandstrand så skall man välja någon annan strand då denna är grovkornig.

Bra ställe på bra strand
Det här hotellet är bra, perfekt att stanna på några dagar och ligger nära flygplatsen. Rummen är stora och bra. Finns stor pool och trädgård som går ner till havet där en till pool finns. Frukosten är mkt bra. Det enda negativa är att receptionen är klart rörig så mottagandet innan man fått sitt rum kanske inte alltid är smidigt. Området är ok.

Lugn retreat
Fantastiskt hotell med vackert hotellområde, flera pooler, mycket grönska och dammar. Hotellrummet var stort, vackert inredd med alla bekvämligheter. Städningen oklanderlig och jag gillar verkligen hotell som erbjuder turn-over tjänsten. Välutrustat och fräscht gym med konditionsmaskiner, fria vikter och viktmaskiner. Helt underbart spa!! Jag gjorde hot-stone oljemassage och det var bland det bästa jag varit med om. Otroligt trevlig personal med en fantastisk frukostbuffe som höll os nöjda i hela 8 dagar :-) Hotellet ligger på en lite lugnare strand vilket jag uppskattade extra efter att ha besökt Chaweng beach en kväll... Flera mindre och bra resturanger samt 3 minuters promenad längs stranden till Fishermans Village med ännu större utbud av barer och resturanger.

Lugn idyll i spaparadis
Bandara ligger på öns norra och lite lugnare sida borta från Chaweng strandens stök och stoj. Vi bodde i en Garden Villa med egen pol och trädgård och utomhus dusch. Helt perfekt. Väldigt prisvärt via Hotels.com. Buffeefrukosten (som ingick i priset) serverades på restaurangen nere vid havet. Litet men välutrustat gym fanns också för de träningsglada som oss. Personalen var väldigt glada och tillmötesgående. Läget på hotellet är enligt min mening perfekt. Stranden är mycket lugnare och vackrare en i chaweng - inte lika många försäljare heller. Clientelet var lite mer sofistikerat - chaweng är mer för de festglada. Det tar dock bara 10 minuter till Chaweng med taxi (vilket är väldigt billigt 65kr) och även nära till öns västra sida - Natong. Ön är känd för sina span. Bandara är också ett spa men jag skulle rekommendera att använda spa guiden som finns på ön. Vi besökte Six Senses Spa samt Tamarind Springs. Väl värda ett besök. Måste vara några av de vackraste spana i världen. Hotellet ligger även bara 5 minuters gångväg längs stranden till Fishermans village! en mycket lugn och mysig gata fylld med trevliga restauranger som vätter ut mot havet samt bra med shopping och skräddare om man vill sy upp lite kläder. Rekommenderar dock att ni går dit första dagen om ni vill sy upp något då de tar några vänder innan man blir nöjd...

Loved the layout of the property. Our villa(with plunge pool) was very close to the main pool and we never had any trouble getting a sunbed. Another pool was located right on the beach near the bar/restaurant area-it was perfect. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful especially Tim, she gave us directions, suggested places to eat and really looked after us. There wasn’t anything to dislike and we shall recommend it to others.

We absolutely loved our stay in the family room at Bandara. Amazing family room with bunk bed and divider, perfect set up for 2 2. Wonderful hotel, multiple pools, lovely clean beach with walking access to the amazing night market. We would definitely stay again!!

This place is a must. Fantastic hotel, superb swimming pools, beach bars, restaurant. A quick walk in to Fisherman’s Village, perfect location for all and of course a wonderful beach front. I highly recommend this hotel and I have stayed in some of the best worldwide, this should be a 5* it’s the best around that’s for sure at a great price. This place will not disappoint.

Good honest hotel, great pool and beach access with sun lounges. My first night my room was right on the street and it was quite noisy, I filled in the Expedia review saying checkin was good but room was noisy, and they called me the next morning and I switched rooms. Staff were great, amazing breakfast buffet… more than everything you could want!

Visited Koh Ssmui with family and my 9 year old girl. We had a bunk bed and queen size room which is very spacious, much larger than most hotel rooms. Can essily fit 5 people comfortably. Two showers make a difference too. Love the amenities and accessibility to the beach and the Fisherman's Wharf night market. Short ride to changwen and cheongmon beach for a chilllaxing days too. Highly recommended!

Hervorzuheben ist das sehr vielfältige Frühstück und die großen Pools. Außerdem hat das Hotel mit Kitty einen besonders freundlichen, sympathischen und deutschsprachigen Mitarbeiter, der sich um das Wohl der Gäste kümmert. Negativ zu erwähnen sind die schlecht isolierten Zimmer an der Straßenseite, die dringend eine Schallisolierung benötigen.
