A bit of disapointment
We came here to enjoy in peace and quiet, since it's a hotel far away from everything. When we arrived everything looked really great with big villas and and a restaurant with good view. But we arrived at the private beach and entered the ocean there was big stones and a lot of alga after only 2 meters away. So we were going to try out the pool which is nice located in front of the beach but...it was really dirty, a lot of insects and flies, It seems like they never clean it. To relax on the beach is good though. They have comfortable bean bags. Also since there is nothing in the area you only have the hotels restaurant to choose from and their menu is pretty expensive compare to other restaurants in Thailand.The breakfast buffet was nice though! Our room was big and all but after a while it started to smell sewer. Also the shower was either really cold or really hot. The staff were OK, there was one particulary guy who was not that nice but I will overlook that. Overall it's alright if you just want to relax on the beach in privacy.

Schickes Resort direkt am Strand
eigentlich eine super Unterkunft, da die Gegend schon sehr empfehlenswert ist. Ist nahezu ein Privatstrand. Sehr entspannt hier im Vergleich zu den anderen Strände. Man ist aber definitiv auf einem Roller angewiesen, da es hier sehr privat ist. Der einzigste Minuspunkt ist, das die Fenster nicht ganz dicht sind (Lücken zwischen Wand und Fensterrahmen). Damit will ich sagen, dass somit die Mücken schon etwas zur Last fallen.

Quiet location
We were disappointed at first because we booked this place specifically because it had a fitness facility, and it does not, even though it is advertised. It’s a nice place, but not close to town, so you are better off renting a moped. The place is cleaned daily, but ensure you DO NOT leave any food out of the fridge.... we had ants everywhere. The bed is comfortable and there is lots of space in the room. The pool area is nice but the resort is run down, and there was a lot of construction going on when we stayed. The beach is also rocky and not as nice as others we visited. Overall it’s perfectly fine if you have your own transportation into town and you want quiet.

This hotel is under construction, when i booked that wasn't mentioned. It seemed like they only prepared 3 rooms for our group. No one else was there. One of the pools(the one we could use) looked like a swamp. The other pool was empty and full of bugs. The whole "resort" was full of mosquitoes and creepy. Our toilet paper had mold on it and the tubs were dirty. The whole place looks nothing like the pics. We had to rebook at another hotel because it was so bad. The receptionist was real nice but didn't know any english.

Very poor
From arrival t check out this "Boutique resort" just doesn't do it! What you see on the net to what you get on arrival are totally different. Very disappointed, staff no English, Housekeeping only when you call them no routine as such so you will have to ask for everything down to daily water bottles or clean towels and toilet paper.. Food diabolical, Hardly anything works, and pool always green. Management lives in Kho Pi Pi but doesn't show any interest happy to take hard working peoples money for nothing. Beach along distance from the chalets, they have a gulf cart but the staff use that for the laundry and general running around. Stayed 17 days, ate breakfast the first day and nothing more as it was very little in choice, very poor service and the most expensive in town which all showed much higher standards, as we booked and paid in advance not surprisingly there is no refund or we would have changed the next day as we arrived around 10 pm. Make sure you have immediate transport to have access to town facilities or services as it is far away from everything. Not suitable for children or family and the television is fine if you speak Arabic or Thai as there are no other choices. In all do not book this hotel you will be very disappointed...

Beach isn't suitable for swiming.
We need to walk quite a distance to swim from the beach where is too much sea weeds and rock at sea bed. Secondly hotel is situated 25 min. away from town without no public transportation, fortunately hotel provides free shuttle two times a day. Front desk staff and service worker is inadequate with poor English. Head Photo of web-site is faked. Breakfast Sunshine eggs is better to be done self-cook.

Disappointed
It's location on a beautiful beach cove was the best part. They are working on updating some of the cottages because they are in desperate need of it. The bed was comfortable but the bathroom tub shower combo needs to be changed out. I don't expect the 4 Seasons for this price but I do expect it to be clean and the the tub was not. Staff are friendly but was hard to communicate when only a couple of staff speak any English.

Quiet and peaceful...
A 15-minute drive from town; it's perfect for those who seek peace and tranquility to get away from the busy areas of Chewang. If one has a vehicle, then it's a breeze to go anywhere... otherwise, the hotel shuttle to town (Chewang), or book tours through the hotel or any other tour company. Their policy of providing a shuttle going to and from town did not state the if there's only 1 guest requesting to go to town, then, they have the option to cancel the entire trip! Very disappointing. The doors to the bungalows did not close properly and after unsuccessful attempts to repair by staff, I was upgraded to an ocean front room though. Same problem but did not complain. Restaurant on site was pricey but there was little choice for dining in this area if one is not in town or have a vehicle.

stunning resort on the beach
arayaburi is just off the beaten track 5 mins from choeng mon .. well appointed rooms , beach front bungalows excellent view of the tranquill bay , view from the restaurant better , good breakfast , made to order omelette whilst you cook your toast ,, pool and beach both good to swim in , staff friendly ,, bungalows are tastefully decorated,, 4 star beds , aircon , funky thai tiling step up bath much appreciated after a long day exploring ,, i am an old aussie bloke and had no trouble putting on a scooter to surrounding areas ,, and iff your lucky , dang , is one of the very friendly local pets , whom will quickly take a liking to you and your aircon room , he is adoreable as is resort , ,

Тихий отель с хорошим собственным пляжем
Отель находится на небольшом пляже на котором обычно никого нет, очень классная природа, никаких торговцев, большая территория, много животных включая гекконов. Полное расслабление, далеко от дороги но прокат байка ровно 10 метров от отеля, там же прачечная и небольшой магазин. Номера немного поношенные но это не беспокоит. Очень хорошее отношение персонала, нам чинили сломавшийся замок чемодана бесплатно через 5 мин после запроса. Были второй раз и приедем третий.

Прекрасный спокойный отель. Вариант для тех, кто желает наслаждаться природой в тишине и покое. Людей на пляже практически нет. Восхитительный вид из ресторана, вкусно готовят, ценник на питание средний. Пляж купабельный на длительном расстоянии от берега, но вид уж очень завораживающий. Персонал отеля молодцы, нареканий нет. Очень вежливы и тактичны. Рекомендую брать виллу с видом на пляж. Оно того стоит. Для отеля одно пожелание - озеленяйте территорию и наймите садовников для ухода, тогда это место заблагоухает еще в более лучших красках!

Beautiful stay at peaceful resort
It was a fabulous stay at Aryaburi resort. We took a grand deluxe room which opened on the beach front with a stunning view. The staff was very friendly and courteous. We are not a cribby couple and hence overlooked somethings which could have been better. For example, wifi was not working for most of the stay in our room. Also, room phone was not working which was repaired after complaining. Staff was very prompt and helpful which was really nice.Overall, we loved our stay here and would love to come back.

Nous avions 2 bungalows deluxe gardens et le management de l'hotel nous a gentiment placé le plus près de la plage possible alors que le jardin est grand. L'hotel est située dans une magnifique baie, qu'il partage avec le très bel hotel Six senses. La plage est clame, très belle. Le service bar et restaurant est agréable. Le personnel à l'accueil beaucoup moins, un peu froid pour des thaïlandais. Le hic du séjour a été qu'il y a en ce moment de gros travaux toute la journée juste à côté de l'hotel et c'était très bruyant. Mais ce sont des choses qui arrivent. Je recommande cet hotel, très bien entretenu et au bon rapport qualité prix.

Ein in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel mit Baustelle.
Die Bungalows sind liebevoll eingerichtet und ausgestattet obwohl schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen (hakelige Türen). Hotelanlage ist schön abgelegen (muß man wollen und wissen! Mietauto vorteilhaft) jedoch wegen der angrenzenden Baustelle einer neuen Hotelanlage etwas laut. Pool und Strand sind schön und gepfegt. Personal sehr zuvorkommend. Frühstücksbuffet standard (Toasts, Marmeladen, verschiedene Eivarianten, Obst etc.) in ausreichender Vielfalt aber nichts wirklich besonderes. Etwas viele Bäume, damit wirkt die Anlage etwas düster.

Mooi resort. Zeker als je van rust houdt!
Mooi resort met mooi zwembad en aan het strand. Wel erg afgelegen. Zeer goede service van het personeel. 1 van onze kids werd ziek en personeel kwam meteen in actie en is meegegaan naar het ziekenhuis en is aldoor bij ons gebleven. Als je van rust houdt is dit een prima resort.

周辺に小さな食堂が１軒あるだけで他にはなにもない。ゆっくり出来るがレストランやプールが物足らない。どこかに出ようにも不便でフェリー乗り場まで行くにも車でたっぷり１時間かかる。選ぶ際にはよくよく考えてから。

Nettes Hotel, etwas abgelegen
Es war ein sehr netter Aufenthalt im Arayaburi, da es abgelegen ist, findet man in der näheren Umgebung nicht wirklich etwas, aber das Hotel bietet einen Shuttel serfice an. Wenn man Ausflüge macht, wird man fast immer direkt vom Hotel abgeholt, deshalb fanden wir es nicht so schlimm, dass das Hotel etwas außerhalb lag. Schade ist nur, das der Shuttelservice (obwohl dieser eh nur 4x pro Richtung verkehrt) nur auf Vorbestellung fährt, sonst nicht! Nett wäre es gewesen, wenn man uns das gleich gesagt hätte!

Замечательный отель для отдыха, для спокойного семейного отдыха. Очень внимательный обслуживающий персонал, не стоит вызывать для уборки комнаты, сами находят время, когда можно убраться не беспокоя. Каждый день меняется все (белье постельное и т.д.) как и заявлено. Непонятное дело с завтраками, а именно по приезду 3 дня было все хорошо, а потом, возможно из-за малой численности отдыхающих, остались яйца и йогурт с фруктами (арбуз и ананас каждый день). Но отель (завтрак) не самое главное, главное отдых удался! Для справки: Авто и мото можно взять и у отеля и рядом, но лучше обратиться к русскому сообществу на Самуи, т.к. договора на английском (не все точно понимают), а тачку брать нужно застрахованную, и хоть в мясо разбей заблатишь не более 10 тыс. бат.

距离CHAWENG较远，酒店环境不错，设施不是很新
如果不你喜欢嘈杂或者人多特别是中国人多的酒店，这里可以选择。有自己的海滩。可以看日出。早餐比较简单。环境不错，都是小别墅，就是离热闹CHAWENG比较远。骑摩托车要30分钟吧，当然是骑的比较谨慎的情况下。不过有班车要单程要100BTH,不如租摩托合适。摩托一天才200BTH，而且班车有时间限制。这个酒店比较不新，但是对于安静，就想舒服呆一天的人来说是不错的选择。

Aivan mahtava hotelli rauhallisessa merenpoukamassa. Ei ollut diskojumputusta eikä kaupustelijoita, vaan oma rauha rannalla ja hotellialueella. Hotellin aamupala oli hyvä, ja hotellista n. 300 metrin matkan päässä huikea Country bar, josta sai erinomaista ruokaa, taksipalveluja ja bensaa skootteriin. Skotterilla pääsikin nopeasti liikkumaan paikasta toiseen. Ainoa miinus menee Ebookersille, jonka mukaan hotellissa olisi kuntosali. Ei ollut, mutta löysimme lähistöltä hyvän salin. Lomamme oli täydellinen suureksi osaksi tämän hotellin, sen henkilökunnan ja lähiravintolan vuoksi. Perhe Kalenius

Dejligt hotel med meget smilende personale. God beliggenhed. Maden var i top, faktisk noget af det bedste jeg fik på Ko Samui. Nemt at leje scootere tæt ved, til en fin pris.

Останавливались в этом отеле второй раз. Первый раз - 9 лет назад. Территорию отеля улучшили, сделали новый бассейн с джакузи, но виллы похоже не ремонтировались- мебель, сантехника так осталась без изменений. Завтрак в ресторане сытный, но однообразный и очень маленький выбор блюд. Плюс в том, что у отеля свой пляж, на пляже очень мало отдыхающих, хороший заход в море, отлив не особо заметен. В отеле есть русскоговорящий персонал. Минусы - нет ресторанов вокруг поблизости, только минут в 30 пешком в сторону Big Budda.

Уже не впервые отдыхаем в этом отеле, все нравится. Зеленая ухоженная территория, хотя количество пальм на пляже и вокруг отеля за 10 лет уменьшилось. Очень удобный пляж. Правда, во время отлива плавать проблематично - много камней, но это на многих пляжах бывает.

Location is quiet and beach is great for a swim, small and tucked in between two headlands the only resort on the beach. Bungalows are nice well kept, resort is well maintained with two swimming pools but not much around the resort shops and eateries Minibus shuttle is THB100 each way to fisherman's village or chaweng beach but limited times

Great hotel in middle of nowhere
This hotel is great with great service, but it's located away from everything, shopping restaurants bars etc. It is however on the beach and has it's own (expensive) restaurant. It's very hard to find this hotel on ur own so expect to use taxis to get anywhere

Very nice hotel at great location at reasonable price
Very nice hotel, excellent quiet location, although a bit away from main road and restaurants (need your own car or bike to get to places, or taxi), nice clean pools, awesome flower smell everywhere, one of the best Thai food restaurants (quality, taste and presentation are superb). Stayed at this hotel 3 times already. Very nice staff. On the other hand, the rooms show their age, they have frequent electricity interruptions. Our air conditioner short circuited tripping off lights at the whole hotel, although it was repaired in the morning within a couple of hours.

Great location for a getaway...
I had stayed in Arayaburi Resort for 3 nights. This resort is great for a getaway. It is really quiet and peaceful in here. The hotel staff were very courteous and polite. The only downside is, it is quite far from Chaweng beach, having said that, it is still possible to take a drive to Chaweng beach, takes about 30 - 45 mins. It was not too bad for me as I had my car with me.

Peaceful Resort
I loved this resort and hated to leave. The bungalows are really nice and the location is great for peace and quiet, but only that. There isn't anything near by so you must rent a motor bike to get to an area where there are restaurants. There is a motor bike rental shop and a convenience store right there just across from the lobby and the hotel has a good restaurant although a bit pricey. There is a nice pool and a private beach, but the wind and waves are strong day and night, so not safe for children. I traveled all around Koh Samui for two months and his was one of my favorite resorts.

Pænt og dejligt beliggende beachresort med to gode poolområder og smuk udsigt. Værelserne er store og rummelige. Det eneste man reelt kan udsætte er at det ligger langt væk fra alt, men til en romantisk ferie er det helt perfekt.
