Good value and friendly
Good location, seems a bit off at first but especially with bike distance is short everywhere. Very friendly and service minded, the best we experienced in the Seychelles. Breakfast was very good, room also, would visit again.

Great place. Clean, new and the owners, Lucy and her son Alex, are super friendly and helpful. We would recommend this to anyone, couple, friends or families.

Super Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis! Einchecken, Fahrrad mieten und die entspannte Atmosphäre auf La Digue geniessen. Das Zimmer war immer sehr sauber. Internet und Klimaanlage auch super. Für die Zimmer ohne Balkon steht eine Veranda und ein "Wohnzimmer" zur Verfügung. Unweit gibt es mehrere Takeaways, wo man sich leckere Currys und mehr holen kann. Auch zum Supermarkt ist es nicht weit. Kann die Unterkunft nur empfehlen.

Alex und seine Mum waren sehr nett und behilflich. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Hafen sind gut zu Fuß zu erreichen und wenn es etwas schneller gehen soll, oder weiter weg, hilft Alex dabei, ein Fahrrad in die Unterkuft zu bringen.

Unsere Zeit in Lucy's Guesthouse war sehr gut. Die Unterkunft ist sehr charmant und sehr gut gepflegt. Die Besitzer sind total herzlich und stehen einem immer mit Ratschlägen zur Seite. Die Küche ist sehr gut zum Selbstversorgen ausgestattet und es gibt alles was man benötigt. Außerdem ist die Unterkunft sehr gut gelegen um die schönsten Strände auf La Digue zu besuchen.

We had a great stay at Lucy's Guesthouse and would recommend it to anyone. Everything you need is within easy reach, e.g. supermarket, takeaway. We were warmly welcomed, had relaxing days and enjoyed Lucy's delicius breakfast. The time went by far too quickly. We will definitely be back soon.

Bon séjour
Très bonne guest house ! Accueil agréable avec un jus, chambre et salle de bain très spacieuse. Lucy nous a aidé pour la location de vélo. Les petits moins sont le wifi pas très très rapide et l'eau chaude manque quand il y a moins de soleil. Mais à conseiller :)

We don't use credit card but you can withdraw cash near to an atm , the nearest beach is 2 minutes from our place!

Very lovely guest house
Very pleasant stay, location was very convenient and owner hooked us up with bicycles to hop around the island. Also kitchen was huge and we didn’t have to buy our selves many complimentary goods such as salt, pepper, ketchup etc

My daughter and I spent two nights at Lucy's Guesthouse in the double & single bed room. Alex, Cleopatra and Lucy are fantastic hosts and we found them very welcoming. The accommodation is modern with everything you need. The little touches in the room make all the difference which sets a good standard - beach towels, lovely toiletries, blanket for bedding (great to keep you warm at night whilst the a/c reduces the humidity) Alex kindly arrange bicycle hire. We could have chosen home cooked breakfast, but we'd already travelled the islands with our own food. The refrigerator in the room was great to store our food and we used the main kitchen to prepare our breakfast. The hosts are very flexible with food arrangements and can also provide an evening meal option if required. The location is great and we walked from the ferry port on arrival. Alex kindly arranged a taxi (electric golf buggy) to take us back to the ferry port, as there had been heavy rain and some of the road areas were under water. Some parts of the island suffer from lack of proper road drainage following heavy rain, and this is an issue caused by the local council and not the fault of the guesthouses. I spoke to the mayor of the island (who lives opposite Lucy's Guesthouse), and she explained about the drainage issue and promised that this issue would be resolved in the coming year and welcomed us back to the island to see the changes. Apart form the flooding issues, we had a fantastic time on La Digue

Brilliant
Brilliant stay at the guesthouse. Staff was great. Location was great. Room was clean, cosy and the air con really worked wonders between beach sessions. Can’t recommend enough. A perfect accommodation to experiense the brilliant little island of La Digue.

Nydelig gjestehus med god service
Koselig gjestehus med veldig god service. Fin beliggenhet litt tilbaketrukket fra hovedgaten med få minutters gange til alle restauranter etc. Fint bad og rom. Rent og ryddig. Anbefales.

安靜的小島，美麗的沙灘，乾淨的民宿，和善的主人。
謝謝露西與艾力克斯的招呼，民宿很新，只開幕了四個月，有冷氣空調是非常重要的。民宿附近有好幾間商店，隔壁巷子有GaLa餐廳，在小島的交通工具是腳踏車，悠閒又有趣。Anse coco也一定要去。

Une très belle maison, toute neuve, décorée avec goût, de la belle ébénisterie, de la modernité, le sens du détail, proche de tout et très bien gérée par Lucy et Alex. Tout était parfait, propre, avec tout ce qu’il faut pour être bien sur place. Ils sont accueillants, organisés, disponibles, bienveillants, intéressants et tellement chouettes qu’on a tous passé un séjour d’une semaine exceptionnel. Merci à tous 2, on s’est régalés (et vous le savez :-) ), nous avons été très touchés par votre rencontre comme celle de votre île sublime. Nul doute que votre guesthouse saura rendre heureux les prochains arrivants. On vous embrasse.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich von Lucy und Alex begrüßt, durch das Haus geführt und betreut. Alex organisierte uns schnell ein paar Fahrräder (150 Rupien/10 Euro pro Rad und 24 Stunden; angeblich Einheitspreis auf La Digue), und auch sonst waren die beiden sichtlich um das Wohlergehen ihrer Gäste bemüht. Alles war sehr sauber und in fast neuwertigem Zustand. Bis auf das Waschbecken im Bad, das nicht nur rann (wurde uns bei der Begehung mitgeteilt), sondern nach einer ersten „Behandlung“ durch einen Fachmann fast verstopft war. Ein begabter Klempner könnte auf La Digue gut gebraucht werden. Die Matratzen sind sehr hart. Wir mochten das zwar, doch für andere könnte das ein Ausschlusskriterium sein. Insgesamt dank des hervorragenden Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnisses eine sehr empfehlenswerte Unterkunft.

Lucy’s is a new property. This comes with the benefit of modern rooms in generally good condition, but they are struggling to establish standard working procedures. They sent no reply to my request in the original booking for advice on port-to-hotel transport. Their phone remained unanswered for hours on the arrival day, even after my arrival at property door nobody was there even though they had precise ferry arrival information. A neighbor confirmed that not picking up their phone was a known problem. Following an urgent text message on expedia’s platform they seem to have commissioned someone at the port to greet me, but he did not carry any sign with my name or the hotel name, so he was just one of many proposing chargeable transport (at an inflated price of 7 Euros for 1 km bicycle transport, which I rejected). Finally Lucy showed up, an interesting character unusual in the hospitality industry. She seems to confuse the relation between guests and hosts with that between children and parents. When she has a bad day or feels criticized (e.g. for non-reachability and pick-up mistake) she tends to react with outright hostility and repeatedly shout at guests; bizarrely giving instructions on how to exactly point the chair when talking with her. While saying “we don’t want your money” on the first day and inviting me to stay for free, she then asked me to find another place to stay for the second night, which she only reversed when I told her she had to fulfill the contract.

Goodmorning, first of all I would like to say that you are.a beneficial to book this accomodation in lower price than the other guesthouses offer in La digue, perhaps you were expecting a 5 star accomodation because in the notes you are demanding many things that you should pay for them in a normal.guesthouse and I did not charge.anything, you told us there was not communication and when I.sent a person to pick you up from the jetty you ditched him and then you answered it might be him and I.allready told you his name through e mail. It was also.my mistake not.telling you exactly besides my amenities that I have in the guesthouse ,what are our services because.you.might have not understood , maybe in that case you would have booked somewhere more expensive and with a.better service. It is also written that we don't provide pick up service at the moment from the guesthouse since the distance is not far we only send people to pick your luggage and provide.you bicycle if you want. Best Regards

Nice place in countryside. Clean house and room. Room is equipped with an electric adapter for European appliances, it was great. Lucy and Alex are very helpful and kind hosts. It was the best place on the Seychelles, where we stayed.

This was an excellent place to stay. The location is very central and a short bike ride to everywhere. The house is brand new and the host and his mom are wonderful. I highly recommend staying here. A/C was strong an quiet. Bed linens and towels were immaculate as was the rest of the home. You will be very happy here.

Très belle expérience dans ce nouveau guest house de la Digue. Calme et gentillesse au rendez-vous. Le guest house est tenu par Lucy (la maman, seychelloise) et Alex son fils. Revenu récemment d’europe pour vivre à la Digue, cette famille sera vous recevoir dans cette maison entièrement neuve mais de style typiquement Seychellois en plein coeur de la Digue. Les commerces sont proches (supermarché STC et différents Take Away) restaurants etc, le bord de mer est seulement à 5 min à pied et la plage de Anse Source D’Argent à moins de 7 min en vélo. La maison est très bien équipée. Elle dispose d’une grande cuisine avec micro onde, four, plaque de cuisson ainsi qu’un barbecue à l’exterieur. Les chambres sont bien décorées, avec un mobilier en bois, très bonne connexion internet. Je vous invite a séjourner dans ce jolie guest house à la rencontre de cette belle famille.
