Great place on the lake!
Great place to stay. Great communications with owners. Fun things to do. Nice deck. Fabulous fire pit. Kayaks were fun! Lots to do within 1-1.5 hours. Rural area. Overall, would recommend!

Fantastic Family Trip
Family of 6 (kids aged 3-9) and our golden doodle enjoyed a week right on the lake. We fished off the dock, rented a pontoon boat from marina across the bridge and enjoyed smores at the awesome firepit. Very quiet and peaceful setting. Huge deck overlooking lake & marina, lots of board games, and so much more we did not get a chance to do. Highly recommend! While we missed the summer-like weather by a weekend, we would love to come back and actually get to enjoy being in the lake during summertime.

Perfect Quiet Getaway
This house is perfect. Corner lot with access to the lake. Bring plenty of bait to feed and catch the fish. The area is so quiet and perfect to decompress from the hustle and bustle. Keep your eyes open because you might find some deer walking across the yard. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying here in the future.

Ryans Birthday Surprise
The owner put birthday celebration decor up to help me surprise my boyfriend and to make the trip extra special. The place was wonderful, quiet, and absolutely perfect! It was exactly what we needed, to get away from the crazy city and to enjoy the true beauty of the country.

Spring Fishing Trip 2023
Super nice place to stay and play or fish, very friendly host. We had 4 days of super weather and great fishing. The place makes you feel right at home as soon as you walk in the door. We have been renting places on this lake for 25 years and this is the best place of them all.

Fantastic Lake House
We had an absolutely wonderful time at this lake house. It was so well stocked with things to do inside if the weather was a not cooperating as well as great outdoor amenities! The location is great. The house was super clean and had everything we needed for cooking. The owner was very easy to contact. We will definitely be staying here again! Thanks so much for sharing your house!

Favorite place so far in Kentucky!
This was the perfect spot for us. Great to have some family time and relax together. Loved that they have a lot of games there too, especially when we had a rainy day on our trip! Still had fun inside. Also close to many great places for day trips.

AWESOME WEEKEND GETAWAY!
We had a great, relaxing 2 days at the house. Boating, kayaking, swimming and relaxing! The owners went above and beyond for everything needed inside and outside. We will definitely rent house again!

Fantastic lake house
Wonderful stay at Water's Edge. Owners are great and quick to respond to questions. This lake house was above and beyond what we expected. The pictures don't capture the true charm of this place. One of my favorite stays on VRBO, for sure. Has everything you need and some things you maybe didn't realize you need. Great get-a-away trip to the lake!!

Start to summer get-away
My family( husband and 2 teenagers) and I had a great time. Our dog Jackson was welcomed with a dog treat, which he enjoyed. We used the kayaks and board games provided. The deck was beautiful and the area was calm and friendly. The decor is justified as pictured, everything was clean. The owner was punctual with messages. It was a great relaxing stay. Get your groceries before you get there to save a half-hour drive to the store. Nice getaway!

Excellent Stay
The location of this lake house is perfect . You can put your boat in right across the street and bring it over to the private dock . They have everything you need for your stay except food !! They have gone the extra mile in furnishing the lake house . Extra clean nice stay with comfy beds . Lots of outdoor seating on the deck and fire pit. Use of their kayaks is a bonus . There’s a swim ladder on the dock so you can fish or swim right at the house . Wonderful stay and can’t wait to return . A little FYI …if you want to fish with live bait …bring some with you ….the dock was completely out and as were every store within 20 miles .

Anniversary!
We were getting away to celebrate our 49th Anniversary. The location is only a 2 hour drive from Louisville. The house is decorated to make you feel at home. We got 3 inches of snow but it melted off the roads by 10 oclock. Hope to come back in the summer.

Road Trip to Kentucky
I took my daughters on a road trip to Kentucky and we had the best stay here! The house is so adorable! Coffee on the deck overlooking the lake, kayaking, swimming, watching the dragonflies by the water and just being able to relax here was so wonderful. Our only complaint was that we didn't have enough time! :)

Relaxing lake retreat
Lake house was very clean and tastefully decorated. Had everything you could need. Views of the lake either from deck drinking coffee or from the yard with an adult beverage were outstanding. You’ll not want to leave or be planning your next trip. Awesome, relaxing vacation.

Beautiful views!
We had an amazing time at this vacation rental! We loved the beautiful views and really enjoyed the fact that they had new kayaks to use. The house was very clean and perfect for our family:) You can catch crappie and blue gill right off the dock and eat a nice meal outside while enjoying the lake view. The fire pit area was very nice as well.

“Senior Trip” 2021
We had a very relaxing time at this home. Our mission was to take our dogs (the seniors) to the lake and enjoy some quiet time letting them swim, while we went fishing and kayaking. We were all so comfortable and had a great time! Thank you to our accommodating hosts!
