Fun and relaxing time with childhood friends
We found this home and decided to meet in Kentucky this year. For the last 32 years we've been meeting in Tennessee - Sevierville, Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge area. Very clean home with good accomodations. If you bring all your food, drink, etc. you do not have to leave if you don't want to. Homeowner was very accomodating emailed code and time we could check in home. Thank you!

Spring Break
We had a great Spring Break. The house was clean and had everything we needed. My boys enjoyed the paddle boat. Parking and turning around is a little tough with a full size truck and boat trailer, but we were able to get it figured out. Thanks for a great stay!

Great stay!
My husband and enjoyed our stay! It was a wonderful retreat for us. The home was clean and spacious. We loved the covered deck and spent most of our time outside enjoying the beautiful view of the lake. Highly recommend if you are looking for a beautiful, quiet retreat!

Lake getaway
This property was the perfect stay for us. There were 6 adults that went and the space was very accommodating. Anything we needed we were able to find there. We even had access to the owners lake toys! (Water mat, paddle boat, kayaks etc) . It was a nice adult getaway but would've been great to take the kids to as well!

Lake Malone Retreat
This is a beautiful home, with many needed homey items. Beds were comfortable and kitchen well equipped. Bathrooms provided toiletries and plenty of towels. Fishing poles and tackle are also available. The deck to the lake does get very hot and is slick (owner was notified). The kayaks and water pad were appreciated and used during our stay. We were notified the day prior to our arrival that there would be a large pile of dirt in the yard. We did have workers show up, we were notified by Stephanie the morning they arrived. Additionally a mowing crew showed up on Thursday that we were not made aware of or expecting. Overall, this was a very nice house for our family vacation of 5 people and would recommend for a quiet retreat (minus the workers :).

This lake house was perfect for our needs! We enjoyed seeing Lake Malone for the first time. The beds were comfortable and I would return. The paddle boat and kayaks were fun to use.

Perfect Getaway
We went with the family for our moms 60th birthday and had the best time. The house was clean, the kitchen was well equipped with everything we could need, the owners were generous with supplies!! The location of the house was remote which we enjoyed. There wasn’t too much boat traffic in front of our dock so the kids could swim. We really enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boats and had loads of fun with the board games! The porch was very spacious and had plenty of room for everyone to relax and spend time together. We had the best time and all agreed we wanted to return again, for longer next time!

Very nice remote location!
Very nice remote location on Lake Malone. Didn’t have the opportunity to use the lake but it looked inviting. House was well maintained and tidy! Would definitely recommend.

Perfect getaway
Exactly what we anticipated but more. The host had extra towels, life jackets, kitchen supplies, games, and fishing poles! There were actually 4 kayaks and no paddle boat, but Mother Nature (rain) wouldn’t have let us tried the boat. We hope to come again.

Perfect Place
Everything was as described. Host was quick to respond when needed. Directions were simple and accurate. Check in was a breeze. Kitchen was stocked with anything and everything we could have needed, minus a pitcher. The rooms are spacious and there was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating for everyone! The boys enjoyed the kayaks. The girls loved the floating mat. It was a much needed and VERY relaxing weekend trip. We would suggest this place to anybody looking to have a nice weekend getaway at Lake Malone.

Great yard and location on the lake
The trip was good- would stay again. Outside was in need of a good cleaning- we used broom and knocked down the spider webs and cleaned up all the cigarette butts ourselves but it needs more. Inside was clean most beds were good but one was more like a hammock needing attention. We never found all the yard games - kids brought volleyball but didn’t see a net- but the set up with the slope to the lake and the fire pit was GREAT. We have stayed on a cliff side location on Malone in the past and this yard was so nice for the kids and the view!

Perfect spot for girls night
We had a great time with food, conversation, and water! The permission to use the kayaks was the icing on the cake! The water was refreshing, and the dock was a perfect size to grab some sun breathe in some fresh air. Stephanie was quick to reply with the few questions we had. The neighbor was super polite and inviting as well. Stephanie's place might have to become a regular stop in the future!!!

Cozy home away from home
Th house was very cozy. We loved going out on the dock and fishing and swimming. We used both the kayaks and the paddleboat without any issues. There is no toaster but we made do with the oven on broil. The coffee carafes lid comes off but still works. The grills grease pan fell out the first time we went to use it and it seems as though it hadnt been cleaned in quite a long time. The grill kept catching fire from all of the grease even after we cleaned it so we ended up not being able to use it too much. Definitely keep bug spray on hand, mosquitoes run rampant which is typical when you're by the water. The neighbors were very polite. The king and queen beds are amazingly comfortable and everything we needed for linens and towels were provided. It was also nice to have a washer and dryer if we needed it. The closest boat rental for pontoons was about 1.5 hours away on Nolin lake. Overall we would definitely stay again. The owners were always helpful and responded in a timely manner!!

Enjoyed our stay, house was clean and equipped with everything we needed. Only issue is I would not recommend for older people there are a lot of steps, commode is low to the ground and no hand rails in shower. Enjoyed the scenery and large deck, overall enjoyed very much.

Everything was clean inside the deck had a lot of mud on it when we got there. The beds were very comfy. It was really a wonderful place just not for our age group. We are too old for the hill going down to the water and the stairs going up to the parking in back. Too many replacements parts on our old body’s. Take food with you because no shopping close. Over all we caught a lot of fish and I enjoyed the view..

It was beautiful, easy to find, they had everything!
Don’t overpack! the loading and unloading on all the steps is a lot of work. The hill down to the lake is kinda rough for older folks fine for the young. You cannot walk into the water the edge is rocky and seaweedy. But loved the house, deck and the manager was super!

Nice relaxing long weekend.
My brother and his wife met me and my husband here for floating, eating and fishing. This place has a gentle slope to the lake unlike many homes on Lake Malone. The house is actually a double wide and was very clean and had all we needed, well except a toaster but we made it in the oven. We hope to stay here again next year. Oh and the neighbors were friendly as well. Thanks for a great time and sharing your home.

It was a very simple process to check in and and out. It has a lot of steps down to the house and lake so if you have anyone that has difficulty with steps it may be an issue. The lake is beautiful, but one caution: if you are a kayaker or paddleboarder, there are no reduced speed or no "no wake" areas so expect a heavy stream of bass boats and pontoons keeping you on your toes-lots of wakes. Still - we loved it!

Wonderful View
The house was very comfortable. The view from inside the house and deck was beautiful. Sat in the kitchen every morning and had breakfast with the view of lake. Some geese entertained us! Had in town family over to visit we all enjoyed sitting out on the deck most of the the time. My boys took out the kayaks and paddle boat. Enjoyed fishing from the dock with out grandchildren. They have a great big fire pit that we also loved sitting by listening to music. Last but definitely not least the owners are very personable and nice!! We recommend this place for family gatherings. You’re whole family will love it!

Family weekend getaway
This rental was nice and clean. It had extra stuff to make our stay comfortable. The Lake was beautiful. We had fun fishing and watching the lake come alive with wildlife. We even saw a family of otters. We had an awesome time.

Easy Lake Access
This property is as pictured. Access to the lake is easier than many properties on Lake Malone. While the outside decks are spacious and provide a great view of the lake, the furniture and tables needed attention. We loved using the kayaks. Inside, the rooms are spacious with plenty of seating even for a large group. The kitchen had ample dishware and cookware, and we appreciated having ziplocs and plastic leftover storage ccaontainers. We were a bit diappointed with the quality of the linens, both the bath and kitchen towels and the bedsheets. Though all were clean and serviceable, they were mismatched and a bit threadbare. The master bedroom had only pillows with decorative shams, not pillowcases. These little details can make the stay more comfortable. Overall, the house met our needs.

Best mini vacation ever.
Location, location, location was great! The house was clean and stocked with everything we needed. Having the deck gated was perfect for our little guy to play on. We had the best time and can't wait to stay again. Owner was super helpful and answered all my questions in a timely manner. We wished we would've stayed longer.
