“Mayor Lord's is a lovely property. The carriage house is spacious and lovingly decorated. However, with an absent host by design it is a rather cold place. I understand the concerns surrounding Covid, and the desire for a contactless B&B, but it makes a sterile atmosphere. The $10 voucher is an attempt at breakfast. The over riding charm of a B&B is the interaction among the guests and the host. All that being said I would like to stay there in 2025 when my grandson graduates.”

“Nice and out of the way. Away from the bustle. Very easy to work with. Kitchen had everything needed for cooking. There was even a grill on a deck that actually isn’t listed, but it was a bit cold still to really enjoy sitting outside. Sink was great and easy to clean dishes. Internet access was good, was able to watch some movies at the end of the day. Overall very good experience, even better than most places I’ve been. If I was ever in this area again, I would stay here.”

“What a cute cottage! The house was very clean and cozy. The kitchen was stocked with everything one would need. There were plenty of extra towels (even beach towels which we used on our trip to Splash Lagoon)! The beds were very comfortable. “We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was spotless and had everything we needed to prepare meals. We enjoyed watching the sunrise on the back deck with a cup of coffee and fishing in the canal. We were fortunate to stay during the total solar eclipse, and our hosts even provided eclipse glasses! Would highly recommend staying here and would do so again.”
