Fint udda boende
Trevlig omväxling i stället för vanliga hotell. Gott om plats och möjlighet att laga mat. Fina promenadstråk med många restauranger. Lätt att få parkering på gatorna runt omkring.

We had an amazing stay on the houseboat. We were only there for 1 night, but we would've stayed longer if we had known about it. Great option instead of a standard hotel. A bit loud at night from the bars close by, but it was easy to sleep. Super comfy, soft bed. Highly recommend!!

It was kind of fun to be on the boat, though we barely felt any movement. The waterfront area is quite nice, near the aquarium and good restaurants. Not close to "downtown", but it is an easy subway ride away.

Pros: 1) All the boats are behind a secure electric locked gate. 2) Not much water movement when on the boat, so no "sea-sick" feeling. 3) Boats are quiet, so even though close together, couldn't hear their occupants. Cons: 1) For most of our trip, the t.v. wasn't working - not a great detractor, but annoying nevertheless. 2) Missing fire alarm - not noticed by the reception crew, but was installed on the same day it was pointed out. 3) Pub/bar outside of the marina (about ~70m from the boats) likes to play music loud in the evening - not overly intrusive, but you can hear the bass. Overall, it was a great trip - the boat was a novel experience, and would certainly hire/stay here again.

Communication before we arrived was excellent. Cabs were set up for us to get into Belem and the airport. We thoroughly enjoyed staying on the boat. The area had plenty of restaurants for dinner but was quiet. We would love to return and stay longer.

Amazing Boat and Location
Stayed from the 14th to the 15th The boat was amazing to say the least its better than my house!, the location was stunning water on one side and a strip of restaurants and places to visit on the other I am very annoyed with one thing after my overnight stay and that was being told it was peaceful and quiet I had NO sleep at night from all the noise that was happening from a group of people outside I am hoping it was a one time issue because I would love to go back and stay again for a lot longer than an overnight stay but not if this is a regular occurrence

My family of 4 stayed here and suffered with terrible A/C problems that were NOT addressed by management. We arrived at 17:00 and the manager opened the houseboat and it was unbearably hot at 31 with Sun beating down on roof all day. He said A/C was in back bedroom and helped me turn it on and said to open windows to air it out. That didn’t help as there was no air flow and second AC in front was broken. During the evening the A/C that worked tripped the breaker and stopped working. Two other houseboats reported the same failing A/C problem and one resident said it was due to ocean tide changes. Anyway we complained and asked for a fan and manager denied that request. My family could not sleep and bugs came in all night with windows needing to stay open. We requested compensation from Tagus Marina and were denied. Stay here at your own risk!

Dear John,We are sorry to hear you had a bad experience in our houseboats. When the tide is very low the AC does not work for just around one hour because it cannot refrigerate the system without river water. I think you exaggerated your description, but ok. There are no other reviews or reports like yours. You basically wanted to stay for free as you have been threatening us with a bad review in exchange for the money back for ages. That's not how we work. You are free to write this awful review. We are a 9,4 out of 10 hotel in Expedia rating so for sure people are staying with us at their own risk and they have been enjoying their stay.Best regards,Tagus Marina

The houseboat was such a unique place to stay! The boat was in great condition, the bath was very spacious. The beds were very comfortable. It was great to be able to open the windows and get the breezes, but also nice to have AC when it was quite warm. There were several boats in the area, but never felt it was noisy and always felt safe. Turning the shower pump on to drain the shower was quite loud. It was also loud with the sink draining. The toilet was also loud when flushing. But all of the plumbing noises goes along with being on the houseboat. The people at Tagus Marina were very helpful prior to our arrival and with the check-in process as well.

One of the kind of experience. It surprised us how spacious the houseboat actually is. Plenty of room for our family of five. Spotless, everything is brand new, fully equipped kitchen. The location can’t be better. Restaurants, shopping, playground, cable cars, parking, etc. Check in/out was seamless. We are extremely satisfied and sad we had only one night stay. Highly recommend.

Logement sympathique pour 2 personnes Manque un petit rafraîchissement general Type changement des rideaux (moisis par l humidité) canapé fortement tachés La marina est proche d un lieu de vie qui peut etre bruyant jusque tard dans la nuit Pour les petits dejs ne pas prendre ceux proposés par le loueur (tres cher et pas qualitatif )mais en sortant du parking le cafe de droite au top Il faut aussi aimer la marche ou prendre un moyen de transport alternatif le metro entre 15 et 20 min de marche Il existe une consigne a bagage a "gare oriente" Pour les resto proches les plus jolies ne sont pas forcement les meilleurs
