It was a good stay
I ended up needing to get a room due to a snow storm and stayed for the night. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the hotel is located near several local restaurants which gave several options for dinner. Due to the snow, some locals were out doing donuts in the nearby parking lots, but that seemed like some abnormal noise. The room was clean, a bulb or two were burned out, and the bed sagged, but was comfortable. The room was quiet, and I couldn't hear any neighboring rooms making much noise, which was great at night. It's a good stay, close to the highway, and easy to find. I'll definitely stay again.

The bathroom was dirty (moldy dirty shower), bathroom floor was very dirty. Top Cover looked like it wasn’t clean so I took it off and got clean sheets from the check in desk. The non carpeted areas needed to be mopped

Nice Hotel
Your Assistant Manager, Marie Tomblin is amazing. Very welcoming and cheerful. We had signed up for our room to be serviced daily, only to come back and find a note under our door stating that the bolt was locked, which was untrue. I took the note to Ms. Tomblin and she apologized, came to our room and gathered trash and brought clean towels. Later in the evening, I spilled on the bathroom floor, grabbed a washcloth to clean up and it came up black. Apparently the bathroom floor hadn’t been mopped in a long time. There was a card in our room stating that Kansas was the person who cleaned our room before check in. Our bed was clean and comfortable and the rest of the room appeared clean, other than my socks getting dirty from the carpet and floors. I’d like to suggest that the carpets be cleaned more frequently and the tile checked for cleanliness. The eating area appeared clean and the breakfast was good with decent choices. Staff we encountered were friendly. Again, kudos to your shining star, Marie Tomblin. Overall, our stay was a good one.

First and most important. NO POOL!! That should be on the website not on a small piece of paper taped to the front desk. That was my MAIN reason for choosing Holiday Inn. Didn't want room cleaned only wanted clean towels daily. Had to chase down housekeeping to get them each day. The people above us sounded like a stampede of horses. I'm assuming because of poor construction. Some noise is ok but this woke us up numerous times. Not being informed of the pool not working was my major complaint. My grandson was very upset as was I. All l got was an "I'm sorry" plus "there are no other rooms available in town". I heard that as you're stuck here even if we weren't honest about the pool. I voiced my displeasure about the pool. I feel l should have been offered some sort of compensation. I paid over $500 for these accommodations. I could have gotten the same thing for half that price somewhere else that told me they didn't have a pool. So l would not recommend or stay at this facility again. 😠

I have been going to this hotel for years. I was unable to go to the area last year and the year before. In those two years the hotel has deteriorated. The pool was closed. They said they can’t find anyone to fix it. The breakfast was terrible. Although it looked neat and tidy it wasn’t really clean. For the money I expected better. The best part of our stay was the staff. They were all very friendly and helpful.

Friendly staff all was very helpful. The hotel was very clean and taken care of . The breakfast they offered was fresh and was really good the breakfast area was clean and taken care of. The rooms are very nice and also taken care of. You can tell that the staff takes pride in their job . I would definitely stay at this location again !!!

Room was nice neat and clean except for the black out curtain wouldn't stay closed all the way but that wasn't really a big problem I just clipped a hair claw on it and the pool is down right now for maintenance and that isn't in the information about the hotel or room other than these two small issues it was perfect and the beds are so comfortable love staying here

Great room was big and clean, breakfast was good also, was there for SXS trip with buddies, restaurants in walking distance from hotel, gas station everything you need is right there, very friendly staff, highly recommended this hotel.

The beds and pillows were awesome! Very comfortable and covers were pleasant to sleep under! Easy off/ on for RT 119. Sausage gravy biscuits very good along with the eggs! Nice breakfast! Staff friendly!

Upon arrival the staff was very friendly. The hotel was nice and clean. After making it to our room however the thermostat was broken and toilet was clogged.

A much better experience with an overnight hotel stay while traveling than I had in quite some time. Very clean, modern and friendly with a decent breakfast and complimentarily newspaper to boot! I would stay again if I'm through through the area.

I was not informed by Expedia nor the Hotel website that the pool and hot tub were not in working condition. If I was told, I would have booked another location. That was something my friends and I were looking forward to as this area is very limited in things to do.

The indoor pool is closed. When we inquired about the pool to double check they informed my husband it has been closed for 6 months. I booked this hotel specifically so that my 3 children could swim to get energy out after making a 10 hour trip. We can understand a pool being closed temporarily but 6 months is long term. This should be disclosed when booking a room. Thankfully we were able to go to dollar tree and pick up multiple activities to pass the time as our cable in our room did not work also.

The pool is out due to the fact that we cannot get the type of heater that fits our pump room as they are on back order and have been for a while. However, it is on Expedia and our website that the pool is closed, so everyone should know well ahead of their stay and if they book with the hotel, then it is told to everyone who calls the property. We appreciate the business.

Plenty of room!
Clean hotel with spacious room for our family of 5. Front desk staff were friendly and able to accommodate our request for late check out. The kids enjoyed the breakfast. Our only disappointment was that the pool was not in working order.

Our room was very clean but the room above us banged on the floor ALL night long. The front desk phone was “busy”. We explained the issue in the morning to the desk & they moved us so the 2nd night was perfect. The bed slept well.

I have been staying at this hotel for over 15 years and it has always been fantastic! They fulfill any requests I have and always go above and beyond when they meet our needs. They end each conversation with “…if you need anything else, don’t hesitate to call or come back down and ask me…” and I never felt like I was a bother to them. The cleaning crew are always courteous and do a fantastic job with the whole place. Breakfast is absolutely wonderful! The gentleman who keeps the breakfast going always has every item well stocked and will happily provide anything you ask for. He greets us each morning with a “Good morning” as does everyone else! This place just feels like home!

Not sure what the problem may have been, but that was the only complaint about WiFi we had that week and we were over 90 percent capacity for the week. Sorry that you had issues with the Wifi. If you have an issue, please contact the front desk as we do have troubleshooting that we can do in order to let you know if it is a problem with our system or the guests security settings (which happens sometime). Thank you for keeping us informed.
