Not a 4-star n my opinion. Old carpet in room with a lot of stains, crackeded and worn sink in bathroom. A noisy fridge (could not find the electric contact) with no purpose as it was empty.

Otrevliga personalen. Kändes som man störde där. Kvinnan som städar där var super otrevlig o såg alltid arg. Obehagligt. Hotellet ser bra ut utifrån men gammalt inuti tyvärr.

Besvikelse
Besvikelse , rummet vi fick levde inte upp till våra förväntningar på ett fyrstjärnigt hotell. Vi har bott på detta hotell 2 gånger tidigare och haft bra rum då. 2 gånger slutade spolningen på toaletten att fungera vi fick inte påfyllning av toalettpapper utan nödgades gå ut och köpa eget vid ett tillfälle. Rummet luktade illa och var ovädrat när vi kom. Knäppande ljud från TV Router trots stängd TV , väldigt störande. Dörr in till angränsande rum gjorde att vi tydligt hörde störande ljud därifrån. Däremot bra frukost och trevlig personal Trots detta är vi besvikna och kommer att välja ett annat hotell vid vår nästa Londonresa

Bra läge för att upptäcka centrala London, nära tunnelban, bussar och fler bra restauranger/pubar i närheten Hotell är stort och anonymt. Bra badrum och vattentryck i duschen. Hårda sängar och stora goa kuddar. Vissa ljud från klimatanläggningen men bra mörkläggningsgardiner. Mycket hög ljudnivå i frukostbuffén och rörigt. Dock helt ok utbud.

Hotellet är mycket välbeläget nära Gloucester Roads t-bana. Utmärkt wifi på vårt rum. Kylskåp (tom minibar) och kaffe/te-kokare på rummet. Helkaklat badrum; tjocka handdukar, och OK toiletries (dock gick det inte att få body lotion ens vid förfrågan). Rent om än med ”typiskt engelsk hotell-” heltäckningsmatta i rummet (ren även den, såvitt kunde bedömas bland allt det murriga). OK storlek för hotellrum i London (vissa förflyttningar fick planeras). OK breda sängar men hårda och gick inte att få bäddmadrass (man försökte lösa det med nytt madrasskydd, så viljan var god). Två ganska starka taklampor, som inte kunde släckas separat, var kopplade till rummets huvudströmbrytare; d v s det gick inte att tända bara sänglampa. OK frukost som började redan 06.30 men groteska köer till kaffeautomater, särskilt när problem med den ena. Mycket dålig ventilation i badrummet (man tvingades öppna badrumsdörr och rumsfönster och vänta en stund för att få bort ångan trots kort, sval dusch). Tung ”byråkrati”. Jag skulle – med viss tvekan – vid rätt pris kunna tänka mig att bo här igen, särskilt om jag inte delade rum och hade tid att ägna mig åt att fixa diverse vid ankomst. Skulle då nöjt mig med standard rum och betalat vid utnyttjande av extratjänster för att slippa ständiga diskussioner och osäkerhet om vad som ingår och inte ingår. Har bott här flera år före corona och generellt tyckte jag att personalen var trevligare nu men det var en del förvirring och en del ”computer says no”.

Nice hotel. Tube stop 50 yards away. Would stay again for sure. Only knock is that some of the restaurants right outside are fast food chain restaurants like Burger King and Kentucky Fried Chicken. Wish it was a little less "touristy". But the stay was great. Good bed. No issues. Convenient location. Front desk staff very nice.

The hotel is nicely located right next to Gloucester Road tube station. Although I had a first floor room facing the main road, it was quiet and clean. The most disappointing element of the stay was having very expensive cologne stolen from the room by housekeeping. I had checked out early morning and after realising I left my cologne, I phoned reception immediately and asked them to check the room and secure the cologne. This was still early in the morning before the 11am checkout time. They assured me that they would check and phone me back. Of course, they made no such checks, never phoned me back, and although I rang another 4 times during the morning and afternoon, still they never anything. When I sent my son around to the hotel the next day, the cologne had been taken by house keeping and they told him that it was never there. Very disappointing that they could have acted, but choose not to and then allowed the cologne to be taken. Yes, my fault for leaving it in the first place, but inexcusable for them to completely ignore me after that even though I rang them on numerous occasions.

This is a lovely hotel & has great amenities. Events take place at this hotel so be aware of slamming doors and noise at night. The Gloucester tube station was closed, which it is across the street. So be prepared to haul your luggage a few long blocks from the other tube stations. Overall my stay at this hotel was pleasant.

The hotel was affordable and so conveniently located next to the Gloucester Tube Station as well as restaurants and stores. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was much larger than what we'd experienced in other European hotels. Upon close inspection, however, the room was in need of various minor repairs, like tiles that were cracked or poorly laid in the first place. All in all, though, our stay was great.
