Quiet location but loud air conditioning
Quiet hotel just off Cromwell Rd. Having air conditioning was a blessing during the London heatwave but unfortunately the fans were loud. Very loud. We also suspect that there might be something wrong with the AC system because as soon as we turned it on one of us started sneezing. Mould? I hope not. The room was on the smaller side but bathroom roomy and nice. All in all a decent hotel providing good value for the money.

Bor gärna här igen
Super fint rum, stort och rent, städning varje dag vilken uppskattades. Super trevlig personal, verkligen super gulliga alla. Jag stortrivdes under min vistelse på hotellet. Bra läge också. Inget bra internet dock, så om din plan är att jobba från rummet är detta hotell inte att föredra.

Hotellet och personalen var fantastsk, men receptionen var under all kritik. Nonchalant och, påstod att våra kreditkort var ogiltiga, ville att man skulle använda ett annat kort, men ändrade sig snabbt att kortet var ok. Hade inte någon koll på vem som kom, speciellt på kvällen när man bör ha kontroll på vem som kommer in på hotellet. Det var den femte gången jag bodde på hotellet, men är mycket tveksam till att bo där nästa år. Ett fantastiskt hotell med underbar personal, men skicka personalen i receptionen på utbildning hur man behandlar sina gäster.

The hotel has been nicely updated, considering it’s an old building. The room was comfortable considering London sizes. Cedric at the front desk was specially friendly and helpful. We went out of his way to make our stay comfortable. It’s less than 10 min walk to the underground station with service to two main lines, which is great to get to the main points of interest in the city.

For a four star hotel, the staff was at best 3 star. The room itself was 4 star quality though they did have AC issues which you can't fault anyone for a fluke. The lock system was changed on our room. Again understandable, maintenance and upgrades happen, however, the hotel staff should have been prepared to give customers their new keys. It took me 1/2 got to get my key and I was the only one in line. The good to my point about the staff being sub-par.

The facilities and the hotel itself looked very old, the sink and bathtub were all rusty, the same goes for the furniture too. The only plus point was the staff. Will I return? Highly unlikely as the hotel is accessible by anyone without a key card, so security is a concern for me.

Our hotel is open not only to residents but also clients that just wish to visit the restaurant. After a few snafus during check in, everything else was excellent. Cedric was going above and beyond to help situate the issues and make them right. Everyone at reception desk provided the best service and answered any questions relating to food recommendations, directions etc. The hotel is very close to both the Earl's Court and Gloucester tube stations. The rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet. I can also mention as a woman traveling solo, i felt the area was safe. Even at night when i would walk to local gorcery store Sainsburys. I would recommend this hotel and stay there again

Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in, that it says 4 star is an absolute scam. I wish I had read reviews prior to booking this hotel and if you are reading this now turn around while you can. The whole time we were there the wifi didn’t work in the rooms and the TV didn’t work. Our outlets weren’t working in the room at first and when it was fixed the man who reset the circuit tried to blame me by saying I must have plugged in my own hair dryer(?) when I didn’t even have one. The room and bathroom smelled awful, the shower did not drain properly and would range from scalding hot to freezing with no warning. This hotel is in desperate need of repair and it’s honestly embarrassing that they are continuing to stay open. The lobby stinks like shisha and the smell drifts upstairs as well. In addition, the old facade is poorly insulated so everything is terribly loud, we barely slept, including having to listen to a member of the cleaning staff talk loudly on the phone for 20 minutes at 8 am. I’m not one to write reviews like this but I feel that it was absolutely necessary. I’ve stayed in hostels and dorm rooms nicer than here. You couldn’t pay me to go back.

It was centrally located, close to shops and restaurants within a good walking distance. It was a nice and quiet neighborhood. The only thing that I did not like was there was no lotion or washcloth in the room. I did get a couple of lotions when I asked the Front Desk for it. I can understand though that you don't have lotions in the room as not everyone uses it.

Lovely clean and comfortable room with good amenities. Good location. Poor breakfast service with bad organisation, running out of food. Hot food and hot drinks were cold. Frequently needed to ring for service to ask for better provision. This 4* hotel deserves better restaurant service.

Spacious room, huge, comfortable bed, furnishings a bit worn, torn carpet, cracked bathroom tiles. Smart but impersonal entrance. What's the point of online check-in if you still have to go through the whole process again? No bar, no restaurant. Cleaning staff tried to enter my room before I'd checked out.

We just returned from a 3 night stay this weekend and would gladly stay here again Yes it is a little dated however the rooms were spotless and very comfortable with all the amenities we needed. Super close to the tube. Was easy to navigate all round London from this base Staff were polite and efficient. Not issues Thank you.
