First of all, the reception personnel was outstanding. Their recommendations were spot on and they were extremely helpful. There is no criticism towards them whatsoever.
The criticism I have is to the quality of the hotel. I am not sure what makes it three stars because the room we were in was on par with that of a cheap cruise ship room.
The bathroom was tiny enough that you have to keep the door open to even sit down or get up from the toilet. The impression it left was that of a temporary public bathroom. The lamp had a broken glas partitioner, the sink was cracked and the paint was coming off the door.
The room itself was very small. We could barely fit two suitcases beside the bed. The bed itself was narrow and the madress hard. I had to compromise the position in which I slept so as to not get a backache. There was a chair, foldable, but no space for it to be unfolded. And there was a TV, but the reception was so poor that it kept breaking off the program and finally aborted it all together.
When the cleaning was sloppy. The whole week there were crumbles left beside the bed which had come about the first day. They missed replacing used teacups. The sheet on the bed was so unevenly tucked in that it came off on one side and was hanging off the other.
Finally there were no general facilities as shown in the pictures of the hotel. There's no dining room at all nor anywhere to sit other than the bed in our room. It served as a place to sleep and nothing else
