Dear guest, thank you for your review. We understand you arrived on a stormy day and so there were a few leaves in our pool which would have been easily and quickly cleared ready for you and other guests to use once the weather conditions were conducive to swimming. Our rooms are light and airy and we have netting on our louvre windows to let in air whilst preventing insects / mosquitos from entering and we also furnish our rooms with nets over the beds for added guest comfort. We have never had a mosquito infestation on the property. Our WiFi was down on your arrival but we did have an alternative plug in source for to use if you so wished and which you did use whilst on site to message Expedia . Most guests who stay with us tell us our pictures underplay the beauty of Pimento Lodge including size of rooms, the expansive gardens and picturesque setting. We do understand that you were perhaps looking for a more lively setting and that the peace and tranquillity. of Pimento Lodge loved by many guests was not for you. We hope you found somewhere more to your liking

Thank you for your review and feedback on your stay with us - I know that you were provided with a plug in WiFi whilst the main supply was down to ensure you had some service. We do offer an alternative rate which includes breakfast which you could have opted for. Our rates are competitive for the area we are in and our food is primarily organic and cooked fresh to order with lots of it grown on site. With a focus on eco -tourism we prefer to use solar power to heat our water - on occassion this may not be enough but we can heat by traditional means if alerted within 15 mins. From time to time some things like AC's will break down - I know we were quick to provide you with an alternative in this instance. Thank you for staying with us and we will take note of your additional suggestions.

Hi Deb - Thanks for your feedback. Blue Mountain coffee can be obtained you can order this from the kitchen for a small fee.

Thank you Francis for your feedback - we do have quiet times where we keep minimal staff and this was the case at the time you visited - most guests who experience this normally enjoy the experience. However I recognise that this may limit the amount of attention you receive - as a general rule we are attentive but try to balance that with giving our guests a level of privacy.
