So Central
This is a great place to stay because it’s so central to most everything you want to see in the greater LA area. Unless there’s intense traffic, it seems to be about 20 minutes to each museum, etc. Also, there’s some very nice restaurants, literally a very short walk from the apartment Cuban Russian and Japanese delicious.

The Catch
Very good location and the price is not bad. Comes with lots of amenities and some nice surprises such as complimentary fruit,bottled/purified water and pantry staples. Ample bedding and towels with a shampoo/bodywash dispenser in the bathroom. All that being said i would not stay here again!! Between the passive agressive police that bothered my family while out walking after 9pm to some random chick in another unit coming to my vehicle parked on the public street to ask me to turn down the music lol. The number one reason being the odor that was present and lingered in the unit for the duration of the stay which was a cross between cat urine and a compost can.

Confortable, Good and friendly
Great location, Raymond was answering very fast all our doubts, friendly staff, very clean, and with some groceries to charge up provided inside the apt. Location was good and feels safe the neighborhood.

Excellent
Excellent clean Apt exactly as described with very tinely and well detailed communication prior to arrival. We stayed upstairs and loved the balcony, bith inside overlooking pool and outside balcony. Pool was chilly (it was mid March and we were told it would be prior to swimming as it's solar heated) but we are from MN so it was certainly warmer than our frozen lakes. Included food in the fridge and cupboards was a super bonus. Great proximity, took us 10 minutes to get to Universal Studios. Highly recommended!

Convenient
My only two negatives about this property would be the pool was NOT heated like mentioned in description. Or not heated enough if that was considered heated. It was a big reason we picked this place as we have two kids and that would have been great but it was to cold for them to even get in. The pullout sofa could really use an upgrade as it was very uncomfortable and seemed like it was time to get new one. The home was greatly stocked with everything you could need to eat and stay in. They even had some stocked snacks and other foods which was very nice. It was very convenient location wise being close to Universal Studios and other attractions. Overall, the pool was a big let down but other than that it was exactly as advertised.

I am so sorry you did not enjoy your stay with us Lance! 1) In the description of our pool, on line 7, I did post a warning that if you are visiting us in the Winter months, the water may be on the cool side... 2) The Sofa / Bed is just over 1 year old but that aside, I am so sorry it was uncomfortable for you. I assure you, our shopping criteria was Min., Queen Size and Comfort.. We've had several positive remarks...This is our 1st negative.

What a rare find!
I cannot say enough good things about our stay at Ray and Sandy's VRBO vacation rental. From the moment we booked, they were in constant communication with us, making sure we had all the information we needed for a seamless check-in. The apartment itself was spotless, with every amenity you could possibly need. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything from pots and pans to spices and condiments. Ray and Sandy even encouraged us to help ourselves to anything we needed, which made us feel right at home. These items included staple like milk, butter and eggs! The location of the rental was perfect - close to I-5, Griffith Park, And studios. The neighborhood was safe and quiet, making for a peaceful stay. We truly felt like we hit the jackpot with this rental - a rare find indeed! Thank you, Ray and Sandy, for your hospitality and for providing such a wonderful home away from home!

Awesome apartment by Universal
What a wonderful stay! Great communication from the owners and we loved the little essentials that they provided. Lots of space to spread out and very clean. Plenty of hot water for showers. The pool looked nice but wasn't used due to it being rainy and cool. An easy 10-15 min drive to Universal Studios and area restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!

Great hosts, great location!
Older apartment building that is well maintained. The location was great for us going to Griffith Park, Pasadena and Universal Studios. There is a lot in the area just a short drive away and convenient to major freeways. The unit is comfortable and no detail is not thought out by the hosts. I found this stay even more hospitable than other short term rentals we have stayed because the hosts have the unit stocked with food and beverage and offer it to their guests: coffee, tea, cereals, snacks, apples, condiments, milk, eggs, cooking supplies, etc. Definitely worth a repeat visit.

Comfy stay with stunning mountain view
This was a very convenient and comfortable stay for me during my week-long visit to LA. Ray and Sandy are great hosts, very accommodating and communicative. This unit contained everything I needed including a fully equipped kitchen and extra toiletries. The parking spot was a bonus as it made me feel safer about renting a car, and I loved pulling into my assigned spot, even though street parking in the area isn’t difficult. The parking space is not gated but the neighborhood felt very safe. The neighbors in the building were friendly. The view from the bedroom was stunning! I felt right at home.

Holiday getaway
The apartment had everything needed for a comfortable stay We celebrated thanksgiving here and were able to cook up a dinner for 4 comfortably It is not much of a neighborhood but if you are just looking for a place to sleep and drive to attractions than it is perfect Not much within walking distance Very clean and stocked with extra blankets, towels, coffee and especially liked the snacks and things provided Fresh apples, eggs, cereals, milk - way more than I’ve ever had at any other home rental Big plus !

Sweet mid-century themed apartment
We returned to this property to visit family in the neighborhood. It is so convenient for us and clean, well-stocked and comfortable. My only complaint is that the units are often booked far ahead of travel dates, so grabbing an apartment here requires a lot of lead time and a bit of luck.

Great location!
No negatives overall. This was a great stay. If anything, the one issue was the drains in sink and shower did not drain right away causing the water to sit for a while. Other than that this was a perfect stay. We would definitely come back!

Amazing!!
My friend and I stayed here for 4 nights and it was awesome! The owners have thought of everything you could need. Snacks in the cupboard, milk and condiments in the fridge, ice cubes ready to go, spreads for toast and sandwiches and fresh fruit. The apartment was very clean with lots of extra linens if needed. The location is fairly central, 30 minute drive to anywhere we wanted to go. Parking was included, gas station less than a block away and grocery stores in the area as well. We would definitely stay here again!

A wonderful spot!
My daughter and I stayed here on a short weekend trip to Los Angeles and could not have had a better experience. Quiet neighborhood, clean property, and easy access to all of the fun things to do. We saw a show at the Hollywood Bowl and were able to catch a $6 shuttle from a park and ride lot just five minutes from the apartment. Perfect!

Very clean, comfortable and thoughtful place. There was everything needed for a short or long stay. I really appreciated the owners having coffee and snacks in the unit. The balcony off the master bedroom has a really nice view and we enjoyed the pool. Will stay here again next visit!

Perfect! This is the only place I want to stay when visiting the area from now on! We felt safe, it was clean, and SO comfortable and welcoming. Staying here really enhanced our vacation. Communication was great and we had everything we could possibly need! Full kitchen with snacks and ingredients. I made my boys waffles each morning that were better than any hotel waffle machine. I had forgotten a razor, they had me covered. We can't wait to have a reason to go back!

What a great property with lots to offer. Apartment is exactly as described / pictured. Nice clean pool that I wish we had more time to enjoy. Loved this place. TBH, I don’t *want* to give it a good review so it hopefully stays as a little hidden gem. But, alas, honesty is the best policy. This place is ideal. Seemingly 10 minutes from everything. Beautifully appointed. A great clean nice little pool. Would recommend and would definitely stay again.
