Supermysigt mitt mellan båthamn och hav!
Fantastiskt mysigt ställe ute mitt i båthamnen! Superläckert allrum, bar med utsikt över havet och olika aktiviteter var kväll. Öppen spis! Rum med utsikt över båthamnen och en jättetrevlig restaurang och frukostställe.

Mycket bra hotell!
Underbart ställe i Marinan. Fina mysig rum, mycket bra personal. Kunde låna cyklar för att cykla runt till närliggande stränder. Rekommenderar varmt hotellet.

Jätte fint hotell med fantastisk utsikt mot vattnet. Sälar som fanns utanför fönstret. God mat och fina rum. Gratis cykel att låna.

This is my third or fourth time staying at the Portifino Hotel. Prior stays were wonderful causing me to return. I especially enjoyed the quiet and cleanliness of both the rooms and surroundings..This stay however was different. We stayed in beautiful suite with an amazing view of the ocean and enjoyed the calls of Sealions. We were disappointed by the suites insect problems. Ants, silverfish, and roaches permanent residents. We told the front desk and was given a $100 discount for having been bitten all night long. Laughable considering that doesn't even cover my parking cosys.

Room on Expedia was listed as Marina view (straight into car hoods from slider and window). It was a pure parking lot view. Before I even saw the room, I asked at check-in if I could not be on the ground floor (woman only traveling). They said the Marina room could only be off the first floor if I paid an up charge of $80 per night. Will never stay here again for work.

The bed and pillows had a bad smell of dogs. The tall blonde valet guy was so rude, he needs to relax, he can't handle more than one car! The water was shut off by the county from 8p-10p, this changed everything for a Saturday night! This place is run down, smells and looks old, not worth the price at all, stay across the street for half the cost.

The room and view are amazing. The only downside is it costs $40 a day to park whether you or valet does the parking. Very easy to walk to the pier and restaurants close by. They also have live entertainment and restaurant on site.

Great hotel. Oceanfront room was amazing. Listening to the sealions from our bed and watching the sunset. Good breakfast options. Bar in Balleen was too cold to enjoy. Shame the bar in the main hotel was not open when we were there. Staff friendly and helpful. Would love to stay again. Recommend bikes and kayaks. Bike path all along the beach and kayak out to the sealions on the barge.

They charge you $40 for parking and $35 for a hidden resort fees when you check out for no reason. Walls are paper thin and our TV was unusable because it kept saying loading.

A bit pricey for a one night stay, no one sits on the outside balcony? I think because of the smell from the seals? Bed was ok not as comfortable as we thought it would be for the price, at night i called the front desk to see if there was a light switch for the balcony front desk guy said he would send someone to turn it on but no one came? So i called the front desk to cancel he didn't care?

Well worth the price
Great Views of the western sunset on the ocean. It's a little pricey, but worth it if you want a comfortable bed, a sunset view, and listen to the seals in the harbor. The nearby Baleen restaurant is excellent for breakfast or dinner. For me, it is a Southern California treat and well worth the price.
