Ok hotell for one night
The hotell has a perfect location close to the beach och wonderful views from the restaurant. It it a charming old building but it is in desperate need of updating, specially the bathroom. Even though the hotell had very few guests we were given a room far to the back of the hotell and the breakfast was out of some things and took quite some time to bring new eggs etc.

Läget var fantastiskt men rummen oerhört slitna. Vi sa till om en lampa som var trasig på toaletten men den byttes inte under vår vistelse. Dåligt, tycker vi. Endast en sänglampa.En uppfräschning behövs på rummen.

Bra hotell. Kanonfint läge vid havet. Något slitet men bra efter priset. Mycket bra frukost. Återkommer gärna. Går man lite så finns fler restauranger i området. Spelar man golf så ligger golfbanan 100 meter från hotellet. Bra utgångsläge om man ska besöka destillerierna i speyside.

Fint äldre hotell.
Med en renovering av det mycket slitna badrummet så hade jag upplevt detta hotell perfekt. Möjligtvis lite långt avstånd till stadens centrum men en härlig atmosfär av anrikt hotell med en underbar omgivning.

Det rum vi bodde i hade en fantastisk havsutsikt. Toppen att vara i Lossiemouth om man vill vila upp sig eller spela golf.

Gillar man golf, så ligger hotellet på 25 m:s gångavstånd från Moray golf! Banan kanonfin, dock nära RAF, vilket märks och inte minst hörs:-) Helt ok hotell, inget speciellt men funkar.

Fönstren gick inte att öppna, dålig lukt. Däremot vacker utsikt över havet och en god frukost.

Gammalt hotell som kunde varit fantastiskt om ägarna satsat pengar på att rusta upp det ordentligt. Skititga, äckliga heltäckningsmattor på ett underlag av gamla halvruttna brädor. Unken lukt som satt kvar i kläder och väskor tre dagar senare. Toaletter som åter är spolbara en halvtimme efter senaste användning, i bästa fall. Skulle nog välja ett B&B och titta vad man får för pengarna.

Hotellet hade ett bra läge vid havet, allmänna utrymmen var ganska bra, men rummen behöver renoveras. Maten var fantiskt god men berjäningne tog lång tid

Overall, a very pleasant experience. All of the staff were friendly from the receptionists to the restaurant staff. Good choice menu in the restaurant with a meal deal option as well. Breakfast was included and delicious, meaning we had a nice start to our day. The property is in a great location if travelling to Lossiemouth with shops and food options walking distance. Would stay here again. Just two things let the property down slightly which could be improved for a better guest experience. First, the bathroom in our room was very dated, had a cracked sink, poorly done filler used for gaps and needs modernising to make it better for guests. Our shower bar partially fell off during our stay but was mentioned to a receptionist who made a note to rectify. Secondly, the car parking bays were a bit small and was a bit messy with large works vans taking up additional space and reducing the size of adjacent bays, meaning cars were poorly parked and very close together. Simply removing one bay and increasing the size of the reamaining bays may solve this

The service from staff is first class they are always extremely willing to help in any way. Room is cleaned daily to a high standard. Breakfast is always good

Nice hotel needs some parts refurbished
Room was clean and comfortable and modern. En-suite although clean needs refurbishment. Old grout on the tiles stained, shower difficult to regulate. General decor throughout hotel is tired. Staff were all pleasant and accommodating.

Nice overnight at Stotfield Lossiemouth
Nice overnight stay at Stotfield. Room with a Seaview . Should give these rooms a good makeover and you would get a premium price. Clean and Comfortable . Evening meal was very well presented and tasty. Breakfast good but best to use local butcher for sausages !!!! Staff were attentive and courteous . Would certainly stay again.

The condition of the place wasn't really good. No soap in our bedroom, the sink was broken and there was dust and mold around the bath. Many things were aboit to give up in the bathroom. The beds were comfortable enough. The location was really nice by the west beach and breakfast was good.

Notre chambre était nettoyé mais manqué d'entretien au niveau des travaux. La salle de bain était vétuste sans aucun meuble ni rangement pour poser nos affaires. Rien pour mettre notre trousse de toilette. Une odeur de friture était persistant dans les couloirs alors que le restaurant était fermé. La salle de restauration et la qualité du petit déjeuner ont rehaussé notre note finale.

We stayed in the Stotfield for 5 nights. The staff were lovely and the breakfast was consistently good. When we arrived our room was clean and the sheets were good quality. The beds were comfortable and we slept well. There is a fabulous hot water system - you can fill a bath very quickly. There was not a lot of storage in the room, and we were unable to unpack. However, we did have a table and chairs and the TV was a smart TV with access to all the various players. There is free wifi in the hotel and we were able to stream through the TV without a problem. There is no security on the wifi though so that limited our use. Any contact we had with staff was positive. During our stay the bin was emptied and the bath mat and tea and coffee refreshed but there was no evidence of a lot of cleaning - but then we were pretty tidy. The hotel is in an old building so there is no lift but we were offered help to take our bags up the stairs. There is parking at the hotel but not enough for everyone, however, it wasn't a problem to park on nearby streets. We had a great sea view from our window, the hotel is in a beautiful spot. It is about 15 minutes walk to the main area for shops and restaurants. If you wanted to golf, the course is directly across the road.

A lovely location and enjoyable stay.
We had a lovely stay. Our room was super-clean and spacious. Delicious dinner and breakfast, with personal choices catered for very helpfully. We loved our return visit to this location as it is in an excellent location to enjoy exploring great historic and heritage locations nearby, along with lovely countryside and coastline. Staff all welcoming and work hard to help every guest.

Good room let down by the bathroom
Our room was very spacious and modern - no complaints at all, but the bathroom was dated and in need of upgrading, while the faciltites were clean there was mould on the tiles/corners/walls, the lino was ripped and dirty looking and the wallpaper was stained and coming off the walls. The staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing was any hassle and they were all happy to help. The food was always exceptional, never had a bad meal. Overall a good stay.
