“Stayed in this apartment hotel for 2 nights in Apr23. We spoilt the hair dryer before we checked out, but could not inform the office as we checked out very early in the morning and the office was closed. The next day, I received an email informing us that they charged CHF500 to my credit card for spoiling the hair dryer and the TV. This is ridiculous. Their email mentioned that they gave us a perfectly working TV before we checked in. How can they accuse us for spoiling the TV a few minutes...

“The place is really on the lake and surpisingly quiet. The bed is very comfy and the apartment is full of light thanks to all the roof windows. it is aideally located for all sorts of walks along the lake, and hikes in the mountains (be warned, the slopes are very steep!). The few things that can be mentioned are the fact that tall people (over 1,70 meter high) need to be careful all around the place because of the low ceiling and the apparent beams. Also, the plugs are scarce in the kitchen so...

The room was very clean and instructions for check in and check out were very thorough. The staff is very quick to respond. The tub did have a leak after I tooka shower, but other than that, everything was great! “Location outstanding. Very clean. Bedding not as described, 2 pull out couches not actual bed. Comfortable enough for a few night but no third bed as listed. Entrance to building was literally in the street so yup had to run across 2 lanes of traffic to enter the building one at a time. We were fine to do it but anyone that may not to quick on their feet may be scared. The view was amazing. Kitchen pretty stacked with cups, utensils, plates and such. “Corona is a charming village high in the mountains outside Lugano. We loved our stay in this spacious and comfortable house. It has a spectacular view of the mountains and Lake Lugano. The village has a charming church, shops, many ancient houses, a few hotels, and a large swimming pool open to the public. Nearby are hiking trails in all directions. It is perfect for a family vacation.”
