Pensionat i Madeline Island

“This was a much needed getaway that turned into a late winter wonderland. We received ~12 inches of snow during our stay, which kept up mainly inside. The guesthouse provided us with spectacular views and was warm and comfortable. The games and puzzles provided helped to keep us entertained. The few times we were out walking the dogs the entire area was peaceful and serene. Communication about the impending weather and snow removal was excellent. We would love to go back there again.”

“We came for the Birkie, and LOVED staying in this spacious lovely Inn. Beds were comfy, kitchenette was very functional, and nice open space (windows with lovely with view of land and full moon while we were there). Kelly and Mark were so very friendly and made our stay feel like we were "at home." Great area to walk, fresh air, cute animals (horses, donkeys, outdoor cats and a dog - all very friendly!). “The beach on this property is amazing and cannot be beat! We spent hours enjoying the beautiful view and nice sand. The house is a manufactured home, but it was very clean and comfortable for our family of four. It also has a large yard and two fire pits (one at the beach) to enjoy. The outdoor shower was a fun perk as well. I would definitely book it again.”

“We (my dog and I) thoroughly enjoyed our days at Weidel Cottage. Took walks in the evening to take pictures of the sunset, found the Madeline Museum quite interesting, and enjoyed our morning coffee taking in the view of Lake Superior,”
