“The property was great! Very clean and neat. The house came with all you can need and more. The owners left beach chairs and boogie boards for us to use. They had a great outside patio area for relaxing in the afternoons. Lots of room in the house for everyone to spread out. Very quiet neighborhood and walking around you get to see so many peacocks! It would be more comfortable if we could have info about why we can not advised how to get in home and its exact locations etc. Eventually, we noticed It is probably for safety reason that is understandable. “We loved our stay at Ken's property in Makaha. The unit was lovely, updated and clean. It had everything we needed for our stay. All the kitchen appliances and utensils were great. We loved all the beach gear (chairs, umbrellas, towels, boogie boards, etc). The view from the lanai was gorgeous. We loved seeing all the peacocks roaming the property. The gate and office staff were very friendly and welcoming. Ken made the check in/out process a breeze. We would most definitely stay here again!...

“A great location far from the tourist hordes, and a fabulous host made this feel like home. We loved the local feel and the family friendly beach (walking distance) which was mostly uncrowded in early April. “The HP is right on the beach - you can't beat it! The condo has a wonderful view. The lanai is perfect for meals and watching the sun set. The kitchen is small (one cook max) but is well stocked with appliances, utensils, cookware, etc. There are many items we appreciated that were in the condo such as a beach tote and cooler. The building amenities are nice, including the pool, parking availability, and security. There is good and fast communication with the owner. There are a couple drawbacks....

“We had a great stay! The property was very nice, well maintained, very clean, easy to get to and driveway parking. The property manager was easy to connect with for questions. The location was a little further from Honolulu, so a rental car was a must. But for touring the island, we had a rental car anyways. Food, groceries and gas station very close by. We could hear and see the beach from the balcony. Price for 9 people was very reasonable. Great experience!!”

“When we arrived at the security gate we were informed that we didn't meet the condo owners association's occupancy rules. Reason: my wife's name had not been submitted by owner. We weren't allowed on premises until the condo manager was contacted and a temporary approval was given.
