Hipotels Eurotel Punta Rotja Thalasso & Spa hotel was above my expectation. Clearly better than all other four star hotels I stayed in in Spain. Comfortable rooms and a friendly atmosphere by most of the staff during our whole stay. Many young-professional families and older couples among the guests. Buffet breakfast, lunch, and dinner were spectacular. Beware that the hotel prefer a proper dress code for dinner meaning long trousers for men. I sympathize with this tradition, given that all guests are dressed up properly for dinner, and most guest were. The hotel is located in a very calm and (given the surrounding houses) posh peninsula overlooking Cala Millor. It is approx 5 km from Cala Millor, but there seems to be good connections close from the hotel to Cala Bona and Cala Millor with both the local bus and an open "train". We did not make use of this ourselves, as we had a rental car, as did many of the other guests. The hotel area offers a wonderful large garden, a large pool area, and a private "beach" with the best snorkeling experience I had among the places we visited. A local beach, made up of small stones, is available some 2km from the hotel. Cala Millor is recommended for those seeking a nice sand beach.
