“Beautiful batch with everything you could need for your stay. The kids loved it and made friends with some kids from the camp ground and lots of spotlight games were played until late at night 😁 The house is lovely and big and even though we were 2 families in it we never felt on top of each other. “We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the bach. The view is stunning, the wildlife enchanting and Julia was the perfect host. The kitchen was very well equipped, the beds very comfy, and the place was spotless. The local beaches are heavenly and well worth an explore. I'd definitely recommend this bach to anyone wanting to chillout and slow down, and we'd definitely stay again.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely property. It had everything we needed to enjoy our holiday. It was clean and tidy with easy access to Matapouri Beach, Whale Bay and the local dairy. It was well equipped with activities and board games for entertaining the teenagers on rainy days, and there was plenty of room for us all to spread out, both indoors and outdoors. We would definitely stay there again.”

“We had an amazing Easter break at Sandy Bay, the house is ideal for a group with 2 entirely separate areas, and all amenities included. We surfed and swam every day. The location is 10/10 being directly opposite the beach - you can hear the waves crashing at night and the view is magnificent. It is quiet, private and roomy. We would love to return soon. Nat is a very responsive and organised host - thanks Nat.”

“Nice big house in a quiet gated community suitable for a family stay. Short drive or walk to the beach. Comfy beds and clean bathrooms and big fridge. The house is great though the outdoor furniture was rather rough and the lack of shade (broken umbrella) on the large deck meant we couldn’t sit outside during the day. The couches could do with a clean as well, they were quite stained and dirty. The house could do with some more glassware too.”

“Lovely bach, excellent location. Would love to make a suggestion to have some pedestal fans available to use at night for sleeping, it’s such a nice warm bach but unbearable for sleep…….we wished we’d brought our own fans. Also Bachcare sent us the wrong lockbox code but we’re lucky they answered the phone with the first call and rectified the problem. Thankyou to the owners for renting out their home so people like us can have a summer holiday at the best location!!”
