I like the room jacuzzi suite with balcony but no Wi-Fi on the 2nd floor for my 2 day stay (1st floor only for Wi-Fi who wants to go down to lobby area to use it SMH). was bs it’s on them to provide satisfaction of that service to customers and the owner didn’t t care at all the beds are not soft at all they suck beds hard as a rock every room but the staff were super cool I hope they get treated good I wasn’t even asking for a big kick back the area is still beautiful and I want go back but the beds make me never want to go back and the owners attitude towards his customers makes hard to spend our money here again

We apologize for the inconvience of the Wi-Fi going down. We did have the technician come out and they were able to fix the problem , but with slower speed until new part came in. The beds are medium firmness and we are unable to please everyone's bed preferences. We do care about the customer satisfaction and strive hard to please everyone. Although it is impossible at all time. We do hope to see you again.

Beds and pillows are rock hard. No breakfast pool area was nice. Hotel itself is definitely dated no microwave in room.

I like the location, but the door to my room had to be slammed in order to close it and the tv didn’t work.. I didn’t say anything bc I assumed I got that room bc I booked through Expedia. Otherwise it was clean and it was quiet..

it was an awesome resort type property. Although for the price I would expect a breakfast or something for food a there are not sit-down restaurants near.

Not great, but not the worst place I've stayed at.
Room had air conditioner(set at 70) but it smelled musty & was super humid the entire time. It was also working very hard the entire time even the temps were 73 high & 59 low. If you like hard beds, then this is the place for you. Unfortunately, we own a temperpedic cloud-the softest bed on the market so these stiff as a board beds were horrible. No microwave. It was clean & did NOT allow pets which was perfect for me--I'm allergic & who wants dog pee all over the carpet? Not me. I don't care how well you clean, pee is pee! Small tv. Pool goes from 1 foot to only 3 foot because it's on the 4th floor. Wasn't ideal for my 6' tall son & his other 2 tall cousins. Be prepared to pay a lot for a lake view. We didn't, thank goodness, because the lake is not pretty. Parking was easy. Small arcade-5 games. Small fridge in room. Wouldn't stay there again.

Thank you for staying with us. We apologize for any inconviences you may have occured. The air conditioner was running low on freion and has since been replaced. Unfortunitly we cannot please everyone with the medium firm beds that we have. We are not pet freindly. With the pool being on the 4th floor it is impossible to have any deeper than 3'10".

Rooms need to be updated
This place needs to have some updates done everything is pretty outdated I do love the view I guess that’s what you are paying for at over 400 a night. I was a little disappointed for the price.

Nice to be by the lake but the hotel for the price can use updating. Remote didnt completely work for the tv, bathroom had no fan, older looking. There was no air on in the pool area and the hot tub water didnt look very clean. The game area was very hot also tge 3rd floor hallway, when your paying 300$ a night for a hotel they should be able to afford to turn up the air conditioning. As for the bed the pillows seemed they had been washed a million times and not as comfortable. I wont lie I was dissapointed in the hotel and i have been going to silver lake for years.

Thank you for staing with us. All of the TV's are new in the rooms and this includes the remote. We would have been happy to help with any issues with your TV remote. The bathrooms do have fans in them they are on a central vac system that comes on when the lights are turned on. It is a quiet system. Our Pool and Hoturb on the 4th floor is cleaned and maintained daily. The bottome of the hot tub is painted green which can mislead guest to think it is dirty, but it is definately not. The 4th floor is warm due to the pool heaters and that it is on the top floor. The air is on but most times it does not feel like it. We have upgraded the hotel over the past few years and are uncertain of what you feel should be upgraded. We apologized for any inconviences you had here.

Thank you for staying with us. We apologize for any inconvience that you had with the Hot water. We do keep our boilers at 120 degrees. At times the water is not as hot, when there are a lot of guests filling up their hottubs and takeing a shower at the same time. We have checked the boilers and they are working at full capacity.

Beach access is not for swimming, there’s a sea wall into a boat dock area. Comfortable beds, clean facility & property. Restaurants & entertainment in the area by water is considerably overpriced & of average to poor quality.

Thank you for staying with us. Yes unfortunitaly we do have a sea wall due to the beach would erode away if we did not. The water is swallow so swimming is usually done right over the wall. We look forward to your next visit.

It was clean and friendly. But there is no breakfast or any options for food and the pool is on the fourth floor...our room was below it and there was a large side water spot in our ceiling 🙄 the view from my balcony, however, was amazing!!!

Sorry to you feel you stay wan not good. We do have a microwave in the vending area as well as coffee and tea. Some feel that the pool is cold but we do keep it at 80 degrees and the Hot Tub at 104 degrees. Both the Hot Tub and pool are cleaned and maintained on a daily basis. At check in we tell guests that the Pool, Game Room, and Hot Tub are on the 4th floor and we have pool towels at the front desk. We would have brought you towels if you asked. Again we do apologize for any inconveniences.

The fact that there were no amenities like swimming pool, continetal breakfast, misleading on the beach, was bad enough. But then the resort itself was shabby looking with worn blankets that had holes in them. And the price was to high for all that was missing

The hotel was not clean or up to date. It was loud at night and there was no breakfast served on site. It is more of a party hotel then family oriented.Not happy at all considering the price of the hotel. Rooms were out of date, beds were uncomfortable, and bathroom needs work. Toilet ran all night and had little water pressure in shower. Floor felt dirty.

Weeend getaway
Very nice and relaxing, 2nd stay here opted for room with lake view this time. Wish they had a keurig should have brought mine. Coffee at donut shop by resort was not to my taste. They have their own dock you can tie your boat too and leave it for your stay.

Beautiful view....average room.
The Dunes Waterfront Resort is beautifully located overlooking Silver Lake and the sand dunes. The stay is all about the setting as the room is a typical hotel room. It was neat, clean and the staff was friendly. The view is fantastic and the location is great. The drawbacks were weak wifi; poor channel selection and a bit pricey.
