“We had a great stay. It was very clean and close to the heart of Taormina. Big shower. Great kitchen. Excellent communication with the owner. The stairs are a little hard to get up and down but also very charming. Parking is difficult and you need to walk 10 minutes as you can’t park right next to the place. Overall, highly recommend!”

We spent most of our time at Mazarro beach which is sandy and has a small public area. There is a lovely bakery a short walk away and we ate out on the terrace under the orange tree watching the world go by and the cruise liners in the bay.The air conditioning works well and is really quiet. “The region between Milazzo and Messina is not really nice. But Cala Marina is an oasis in there. Great garden (with Yakuzzi!), only a few footsteps to the sea. We spend days and evenings on the terraces (independ of the weather). House is well equipped. Really friendly owners.”

Although we had to get use to the steps to the 5th floor living area, the view of Mt. Etnea is wonderful! A perfect vacation spot.”

“Motta Camastra is a family treasure that has been painstakingly and beautifully restored. The town is very old, population about 800. The residents are very friendly and helpful. The town sits on a mountain top with beautiful vistas and fabulous sunsets. Fabulous views of Mt Etna. Not the easiest to druve to sitting on a mountain top. VERY winding road up to the town with many SHARP hairpin turns--not for the faint of heart! Host and hostess were extremely nice.”
