Hotel med lokal pub
Fri parkering, Fri Wi-fi. Icke datoriserat hotell. Det var papper och penna som gällde. Trevlig personal. Fick tips om "the code-breakers" i Bletchley Park. Högljudd musik och högljudda besökare på puben i bottenplanet.

Great location in the centre of Fenny Stratford, lots of restaurants within a short walk and just a couple of miles from Bletchley Park. Staff were friendly and helpful - breakfast cooked to order!

My room was on the 2nd floor and was quite cold. Also there was very loud music playing in the pub until midnight so I didn't get a great sleep.

Friendly service. Money was taken prior to getting there, even though I requested to pay at hotel. I guess you get what you pay for. When putting out the milk, check for the expiry date. Put a menu out for breakfast, as you may save money and wastage on food.

Comfortable and reasonably priced
We booked 2 rooms for a Saturday night whilst attending a British Touring Car weekend at Silverstone. Both rooms were spacious and clean, with comfortable beds, clean towels, tv and tea coffee making facilities. Unfortunately they dont serve food on a Saturday evening, so we had to order in. The host were very informative and offered us plates and cutlery should be need it. Breakfast on Sunday was between 8-9, but we were away before then so cant comment on what it was like. Despite being a pub we heard very little noisy from downstairs, however one of our rooms were are the front of the hotel, i have to have windows open as cant bear getting too warm and unfortunately the hotel is located not far from a nightclub so you can hear all the local young folk heading home. Our daughters who were in a room towards the back of the hotel never heard a thing. Would we stay again? Yes - but maybe with windows closed.

Wonderful
Wonderful gem of a place! Everyone was so attentive and great with our son. Even if he did try to destroy the place (typical Portsmouth kid) :) The room was booked for my husband and son so they could go and watch the Superbikes at Silverstone the next day. I wasn't intending to go but a free ticket came up and I called The Swan to check that it was OK for me to come too and we were already booked into the triple room which was fantastic. We were able to park the motorbikes right outside the windows around the back so they were out of the main car park. The room was perfect. Husband loved it as he didn't need to worry about the quilt being taken overnight as he had his own bed. The room was silent and the beds perfectly comfortable. The heavy pillow was a godsend as I sleep under a rock when I can! Breakfast was lovely and again everyone was very attentive! We know where we'll be staying next time we have a Silverstone visit. Only spent the one night but found the staff to be very friendly and helpful, good communication , comfortable night and a really nice cooked breakfast in the morning, i couldnt eat another thing all day and didnt need to Thanks very much

Good place to stay
A very simple place. No extravagance but none expected. The staff were warm and welcoming. The rooms were spotless. Beds were probably the comfiest I've ever experienced in any hotel. Breakfast was lovely. Couldn't fault anything - even if I wanted too. Definitely recommend it.

Very noisy room, no lift, dirty cups in room, poor communications from staff, I paid for bed and breakfast but there were no cooks in on a Sunday morning so we had to go without! I wish we were told of this before I had paid £120 for one night.

Rough and ready, more of a workers hotel , the staff were friendly enough but had no clue about the hotel side . We enquired about the breakfast but again no clue , in the morning the place was deserted , we got no breakfast! Even though it was supposed to be included, no one about to check so we just left the key and left . Swan hotel polish up your act ......

Staff were really friendly and helpful
The staff couldn't do enough for us, I stayed with my son who has special needs and the staff were so helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay.

Totally dissatisfied
I could answer this questionnaire with more than just not on the fully dissatisfied side if l had managed to get into the Hotel to stay there on the night that l booked. Anticipating a late arrival, l tried to contact The Swan Hotel directly - had to go onto their website as Hotels.com had incorrect contact number - but The Swan Hotel did not answer phone throughout the whole evening. No email address or alternative number was provided by them or hotels.com so ended up contacting hotels.com customer service who advised me that they couldn't contact them either, even on their emergency number! Very poor on all counts, nothing was resolved satisfactorally and myself I have now paid twice for accommodation for same night! A lot of wasted time on phone incurred also. As a frequent traveller, I am extremely dissatisfied with The Swan Hotel's response which via Hotels com was notified to me AND subsequently Hotels.com, as the booking agent on their lack of appropriate action in response to me on this matter to date.Hotels.com are responsible as the broker to enshure their customers as guests are given 100% support where a hotel fails to meet appropriate standards.

It's bit rundown but nice people was no hot water in sink but shower was ok, breakfast was nice but don't have the coffee as it was not very nice, if your stuck for somewhere to stay then ok for a night
