5 Star but bad info about outside work.
Man kan inget mer än säga "förstklassigt" men tyvärr så pågår ett större ombyggnads arbete vid närliggande promenad utmed vattnet som gjorde morgonen olidlig med oljud och stinkande maskin Diesel. Inget som man upplyste om på sin hemsida som kan kännas irriterande.

Slow wifi, too warm, no view from third floor, noisy traffic and construction outside. €4/tea bag and €4/Nespresso in the room!

En pärla!
Fantastiskt hotell precis vid hamnen i Monte Carlo. Även nära casinot då du kan åka upp till takrestaurangen och komma ut på gatan bara ett par hundra meter nedaför Casinot. Vi fick ett mycket varmt välkomnande direkt när vi anlände och lämnade över vår bil för parkering. Rummet som var ett superiorrum var rymligt och med fantastisk utsikt över hamnen. Överlag så var det ett fint och lite lyxigt hotell som ändå bjöd på en välkomnande atmosfär där man kände sig bekväm.

Lyxigt trevligt proffsiga människor som arbetar.
Mycket trevlig personal. Fin utsikt dock endast om man är över våning tre annars har man träd ivägen vilket begränsar vyn. Nära till allt då det ligger mitt i hamnen. Frukosten är buffe, dock väldigt liten med lite urval. Men fräsh.

Ett väldigt trevligt hotell med väldigt duktig och serviceinriktad personal. Super läge med utsikt över hamnen och nära till både Casino och palats. Ett hotell att rekommendera.

Dålig nattro på våning 5.
Undvik att bli placerad på våning 5. Rummen ligger under en restaurang som spelar musik till 23.30. Restuarangen har öppet till 24.00 sedan pågick städ arbete någon timme, vid 01.00-tiden fick vi nattro.

Very good hotel
Very nice hotel but the AC in the room blew cold air straight on our face all night long. You can not direct the airflow so the only thing to do was to turn it off which resulted in a hot room. Overall a very nice hotel.

Hotel Port Palace Monaco
The only "bad" thing I have to say about the hotel is that when I asked the staff in the front desk if he could recommend any restaurant he said "all restaurants are good" that is not an answer to expect from any hotel I think.... the personal gym instructor who was there when I asked the question helped me more... he asked me what kind of restaurant I would like ect, that is more serviceminded! And "all" restaurants in Monaco are not good!!

Port Palace
Excellent location close to the big casinos. The rooms are somewhat small for the price, but exclusive. You are not allowed to bring your own food or drink into the room (due to tax regulation it was written). If you do they will charge you extra, so we had to carry out food and drink trash out of the hotel and tos it outside. The staff do not give any "state of the art service", it seems that they are tired and borred.

The Port Palace is a lovely hotel, or rather collection of bedrooms, all facing the harbour, with a reception area and small bar on the ground floor and restaurant on the sixth floor. The room was spacious and very clean, with fridge and mini bar, large bathroom and bathrobe. It was a shame there were no complimentary slippers. There is a turndown service in the evening. Some amenities in the bathroom were not replaced. The main drawback for some might be that the rooms only have one road between them and the harbour, which also forms part of the Grand Prix track, so during my stay in April, some evenings it was noisy outside with locals deciding to have a race on the “track”.

We have been coming to the hotel now for thirteen years, however felt quite disappointed on this occasion. On arrival we went to our room on the 5th floor. Little did we know how utterly noisy this one. As we were directly under the restaurant. All through dinner service till approx 3am we had to endure tables scraping and consistent noise, then for breakfast service from approx 5:30am. This happened on both Friday and Saturday. Sunday we managed to savage a little sleep but our short stay was over. The cleanliness and amenities in the room were very disappointing under the dressing table area by the bin it looked as though someone had thrown a drink up the wall but this had not been cleaned, we had to ask for toilet paper, and on this occasion we actually did require the seeing kit and this was empty. The breakfast has always been small and delicious, however every morning the hot items were freezing cold and very rarely replenished. It’s like the standards have slipped sadly. And they me be very minor things but this isn’t the standard other guests would expect when maybe visiting for the first time. We always favoured the Port Palace over any of the other hotels due to the location. However I do feel there are now far better hotels for sometimes a lot less money. Very dissatisfied on this occasion.

Excellent location, fantastic views of the harbour and Grand Prix track and all the amazing yachts. Staff extremely welcoming, and friendly, hotel clean, rooms well equipped (except the lack of coffee/tea in room however we had read reviews about this so took our own). Regular room service, also opportunity not to be disturbed in the morning and cleaners would come back in the afternoon if sign changed over later in day! ! Only issue we had was trying to work out the lights - some lights appeared to be on a sensor and nighttime difficult to operate so has to turn all off and use a torch fir bathroom visits so as not to light the whole room up. Lovely welcome touch of chocolates and wine in our room as a honeymoon treat Definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again if I ever get to visit Monaco again!!
