“The staff always made me feel welcome and comfortable. The room was excellent; clean, stocked, comfortable bed and functioning a/c. If I needed help or direction it was always given, including first aid when needed! The location was close to everything but it was not at all noisy. Overall Utopia House was an excellent choice for my stay on Koh Tao and I would highly recommend it to other travellers.”

“Pros- amazing view, very quiet at night, beautiful apartment and bathroom. Cons- VERY steep hill to get there. Lots of lizards, bugs (what looked like cockroaches but smaller) and spiders inside, and lots of mosquitos outside. Annoying because I really wanted to sit out on the balcony more but the amount of mosquitos meant I couldn’t so just beware! “The rooms here are big and spacious. The hotel Is just one year old so very clean and fresh. This Is a family hotel and the service and kindness here Is outstanding. They have their own minimart (open until 02 In the night) and ATM. You can book trips and boattickets through them. They also have a cheap cleaningservice. Only a few minutes walk down to the mainroad. Would for sure stay here again.”

“We really loved this hotel! Breakfast every morning was wonderful and the family that runs the hostel is so kind and helpful. The only downside is that it is a 15 minute walk (downhill) to the beach and uphill back to the hotel. We didn’t really mind as we usually packed a day bag and only made one trip there and back each day. My one other comment would be that we were in the room right next to the road and it could get quite noisy at night/during the day with bikes going up and down the hill....

“Nytt & fräscht med modern men trivsam stil. Lugnt & tyst läge endast någon minuts promenad från både strand, shopping, och restauranger. Mycket trevlig personal och väldigt prisvärt. “Great place to stay. The lady who runs the hotel is excellent and very friendly. Her name is Nam (hope spelling is correct) and her english is very good which really helps with going places and booking tours. Would definitely stay here again. She booked the Diamond tour which was great. The tour took us all around the island and we made numerous stops for snorkling. It was 850 baht and was well worth the price. The even allowed us to jump off the top deck of the boat.”

“Das Hotel liegt leider mitten an der Hauptstraße. Für das selbe Geld bekommt man ein gutes Resort direkt am Strand. Wir haben auch zuerst ein Zimmer komplett ohne Fenster bekommen, da dieses AC hatte. Nach diskutieren und nachzahlen gab es dann das Zimmer auf dem Bild. Es war ansehnlich, aber nichts besonderes. Das Bad hat konstant nach Essen gerochen.”

“Hatten das Crazy Purple, es war sehr modern und genau wie auf den Bildern abgebildet. Unterkunft sehr sauber und hatte eine sehr schöne Aussicht. Man braucht definitiv einen Roller, da es schon eher abgelegen liegt, aber man ist in 5 Minuten mitten im Trubel. Bucht am besten über die Unterkunft ein Taxi, ist 100Baht günstiger. Rollenverleih über die Unterkunft ist auch gut, fragt nur wirklich vorher wie teuer es sein wird, da wir 3 volle Tage zahlen mussten, obwohl der erste Tag erst um 18...

“This stay was a dream. All the villas have private pools and kitchens. The bed was superb and the villa fantastic. You have a great degree of privacy and cannot see into the other villas. The owner Guy was very nice, great communication and arranged ferry tickets, snorkeling tour, and motor scooter all payable at the end of the stay. Highly recommend this place! ”

"Vi var jätte nöjda med vårt rum, (V25) stort och rymligt. Stor toalett/dusch. Bra AC. Jätte trevlig personal och en bra frukost för att vara i Thailand. Stekta ägg, pannkakor, frukt, rostbröd, cornflakes, 2 olika juice, kaffe och även lite varma rätter. Härlig beach club på kvällen med fire show. Bra mat i restaurangen till helt ok priser. Härlig solnedgång på stranden"
