“We are very happy about our stay: the house is in a calm area but not too far from the main road ; Suresh has been a great host and very helpful to plan the rest of our trip. We asked for a typical local breakfast, which was very good and we enjoyed Suresh's explanations on the different dishes. Definitely recommended!”

En revanche, juste 2 serviettes de toilette de couleur, une savonnette et un tapis de bain ayant connu des jours meilleurs étaient à notre disposition. Cela dit, je recommande cet établissement.”

“No toiletries, didn’t feel safe, it’s in a corner of the town that is hidden and hard to find. It was sketchy. There’s a net on the roof of the bathroom so anyone can come see inside from above; no privacy. People can see inside through the curtains. The staff were nice. Definitely not worth it for the price!!!”

“My wife and I decided to stay here after our flight arrived late at night. The address on google is totally different than the actual address. There were some miscommunications and after hours of search for the place (no signs) we ended up finding another dodgy hotel at 2:30am. We worked it out in the am that we would stay at the place the night before we fly out. It took a long time to find the place. It's not really close to anything. “Stayed at this great place with my wife and two daughters. Villa Shade has excellent service and is in an amazing calm area close to Negombo city. Walk, run or borrow bicycles to get to town or Negombo beach. Or simply stay in the clean pool within the premises, play basket or badminton. ”
