Disappointing 1 month rental
The property looked better online than in person. The unit is actually small and grubby-looking. It needs to be throughly cleaned and painted. Items like towels need to be upgraded. Those that came with the property were stringy and thin. Extra blankets in a cupboard looked gross. Bed was a killer; the couch no better. My husband ended up on meds for his back. There were only inches between the end of the double bed and the built-in wardrobes which was a pain. We needed help with the tv. Thankfully, Dream Espagna were responsive and easy to deal with although some of the written instructions they provided in the unit were out of date. According to our devices, the WIFI had weak security so we had to be careful about using it. In summary, despite having a decent location and providing the convenience of a washing machine and a balcony, staying in this rental tainted our feelings about our trip. Compared to other 1-bedrooms located in Nerja on line, the price was higher (as were correspondingly our expectations)yet even minimal levels of comfort and cleanliness were absent.

Lovely apartment with fantastic views
The hosts at Dream Escape were easy to get hold of and great to communicate with and dealt with everything quickly and efficiently - thank you Sally and Belen. The apartment is great for 2 adults. It is very clean, modern, amazing views and It has everything you need for an enjoyable time. And despite other reviews on the bed/mattress; it is a double as stated, but extremely comfy👍 We ate out all the time as we do every holiday although it wasn’t necessary as all cooking utensils etc are provided. The shower is excellent although the design of the shower tray is a bit tricky as there is no lip to stop water flowing over, but as long as you keep the bath mat there, there isn’t a problem. The location of the apartment is great with a handy little shop next door, restaurants opposite and only a 5 minute walk to La Torrecilla beach and the little tourist train starts from right outside the apartment block. Plus it’s easy to walk to other excellent restaurants and tapas bars, to Nerja centre and Balcon de Europe. We didn’t use the pool as you have to go out of the building round the front and through a locked gate to gain access to the pool - we think this should be made clear in the description. But we had a lovely time and would not hesitate to return.

Schöner Aufenthalt in Nerja
Bis zur schönen Altstadt war es nicht weit, und der Blick aufs Meer vom Balkon aus traumhaft. Leider war es abends sehr laut, trotz geschlossener Balkontür. Das Bett war etwas klein und schon relativ durchgelegen. Ansonsten war es aber bis auf kleiner Mängel bezüglich der Sauberkeit und der Ausstattung ein schöner Aufenthalt

Renter beware
Neither the owner nor the manager informs you that you need to supply your own cleaning products prior to arrival. Dish soap, shower soap, laundry soap, dish scrubber, etc. You also do your own house keeping and laundry with clothes lines on the roof. We had been to various VRBO's during our 10 week visit to Spain and had not encountered this before. The 3 rolls of toilet paper that was supplied did not last the 2 weeks.
