Beautiful hotel in French Quater
+Very nice hotel with beautiful room. +Great location. +Comfortable bed, fridge in the room. +Coffee maker with complimentary coffee. +Nice ltlle pool area. +Stuff at front desk are very friendly and helpful with advises for what to see in New Orleans and bookings. -They doesn't serve breakfast. -There is a microwave you can use but no plates to put your food on, no forks, knives. - No toilet brush in the bathrooom. - Hanger on bathroom door don't fit for towel hanger.

Comfortable and basic
From the outside it was beautiful and scenic, European even! The old brick buildings were charming. The staff are wonderful! In terms of sustainability, my barely used soap was thrown away and replaced with a fresh soap bar that was packed in plastic. Same for shampoo. This hotel uses the older style of single-use, plastic-heavy disposable shampoo and body lotion and hasn’t adapted to the large scale refillable versions that are now typically screwed into walls in bathrooms. My room had no window, one of the lamps wasn’t working and the room overall was poorly lit. The ventilation was extremely loud and it was not easy to sleep. I think the room was directly above a laundromat. On my last night I found a mousetrap under the bed, accidentally, and that was a bit disturbing to see..

This is an excellent small hotel in the heart of The French Quarter. Everything was walkable and great for sightseeing. We had the petite queen room and it was perfectly fine for our stay and very sweet room. Mini fridge, coffee maker and a large shower with great water pressure. Service and hospitality was outstanding. The outdoor courtyard and small pool was really lovely. Highly recommend!

I traveled with a friend and were received by very nice front desk employees. Everybody at the hotel was friendly and helpful. The room was very nice, with a great view and secure.

We went to New Orleans late April and this hotel was perfectly placed. We didn’t want to be next to Burbon St but did want to be close to all the downtown life. This was a wonderful location for us. We did lots of walking and it seemed like the hotel was always close by to where ever we were. Our room did have a strange smell when you first walked in kinda like a perm but nothing that ruined the stay at all. I loved the feel/vibe of the hotel.

The property was an old home that has been remodeled and is simply lovely. We enjoyed the courtyard and the convenience of being able to walk around the French Quarter. We felt safe and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We would choose this hotel again.

Perfect location and wonderful staff. Easily access to the different trolleys and we can walk to every visiting spots. The best is a coffee shop is right next to the hotel. Love this hotel. Definitely will stay in this hotel again. Highly recommended.

My room was interior and therefore had no windows, kind of like being in a basement room. But that made it feel safer and it was very quiet, even though in the French Quarter. On the other hand, not another exit in event of fire near the door. But would definately go back to this hotel but will get a room with window. Room very well appointed and housekeeping was great.

Stayed at the FMI for 2nd w/e of NO Jazz Fest. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Loved the courtyard and even though located in the FQ, it was fairly quiet. Crescent City Brewery handy for a quick beer and a bite along many other restaurants for breakfast and dinner. Would def stay again

French market inn, is the best location for what we were looking for , it's quaint, and quite, even though so much is going on outside, you have no clue on the inside. The court yard is cooler , and beautiful, just a great spot to relax after a long day of sight seeing, and you get a bit of breeze from the Mississippi. Honestly the best place we have ever stayed. And everyone was very helpful

Really liked this property to Jazzfest. It’s in the Quarter but on the outside which is good as it’s a little quieter. Nice places to eat nearby and walkable everywhere. Patio and little pool in back are great!

Very clean, very conveniently located, not too close to all the party places, but directly in the French Quarter so everything is easy to reach on foot. Right by the Riverwalk as well. Rooms are very nice and comfy.

Exceptional staff and customer service. Room was freshened every day by housekeeping but very lightly. Stayed 7 nights and would have liked the sheets changed and floor vaccumed. Room was spacious and comfy.

Staff was wonderful, very helpful and pleasant and grounds were kept up and clean. We had a room with no windows, but wasn't a big deal. We were out enjoying New Orleans and looking at everything while we were out and about. Would highly recommend this Hotel!!

My husband & I stayed here for a wedding, staff was super great and the hotel was pretty! Room was smaller than expected and the shower drain did not work well but other than that it was a great stay.
