Det här var ett perfekt hotell för oss och våran vecka i New York! En promenad ifrån allting viktigt. Lugnt läge vid park avenue. Sköna sängar! Praktiskt med frukt hela dygnet.

Saknade frukosten som fanns tidigare då den dessutom var ett skäl till att vi bokade just detta. Två trasiga hissar en av dagarna vilket inte var optimalt efter heldag promenerandes. I övrigt mycket bra hotell.

Hotel Giraffe
This hotel is so cozy, you can easily walk everywhere. The staff is as nice as any. Next time we're going to NY we will stay there again.

The management has really succeded with the staff!
We were the second time at Giraffe. Even if it was three years ago and some new people has been changed in the staff, there is still service of high class, friendly people everywhere. Extra plus for the enthusiastic, energetic GABRIELLA who handles people and the wine hour in such a good way that we would stay at Giraffe again because of her. Good people always means good management and good bosses. Congratulations. The premesis, furniture etc is getting a bit "worn", needs an upgrade.

Fantastiskt trevligt hotelll
Tror aldrig vi har upplevt så trevlig och engagerad personal på något hotell i NY. Trevlig och välkomnande lobby där ost och vin serveras varje e m. Rummet var stort och fint, som en minisvit med sittgrupp och tv i separat del. Badrummet var dock litet med dusch i badkar med plastförhänge. Men fräsct och med bra avställningsyta. Lite negativt var att det var mycket oväsen från ett bygge på andra sidan gatan som väckte oss varje morgon trots öronproppar. Men sådant kan ju finnas överallt i en storstad. Sammantaget var vi väldigt nöjda och kan tänka oss att bo på Giraffe igen

Cosy hotel at the perfect location
The staff were helpful and nice without being officious. One of the elevators brooke down while we were there so staff and guests had to share the only lift and almost all of them were nice to talk to. The complimentary breakfast, coffee during the day and the afternoon wine buffet makes you feel like home. Also, if you have been to New York many times, you realise that 26st Park Avenue is a perfect Palace to be.

Giraffe hotel ligger väldigt bra I Midtown. Nära till det mesta. Supertrevlig personal. Något slitet hotell. Ett stort plus till den gratis vinbar som är öppen 17-20 varje kväll. Mycket trevligt!

Kanon hotell
Hotell Giraffe är ett jättebra hotell med trevlig personal och smidig incheckning. Tycker även att utcheckningstiden är bra eftersom den är klockan 13:00. Hotellet ligger bra till så det är lätt att gå överallt och titta på allt som finns i NY. Kommer definitivt att boka detta hotell igen när det är dags för nästa resa till NY

Perfect for the family with grown-up kids
We stayed with our two daughters, 18 and 21 years old, in a suite with a separate bedroom and a sofa bed in the "living room". The free breakfast exceeded our expectations, and the hotel was just perfect in size (60 rooms?). Friendly staff, extremelt fast check-in/check-out and the location Is perfect with "everything" within reach.

Needs a good update and could be cleaner. The room smelled damp, I didn't enjoy the room. The TV only had 1 channel. It was very cold. There is no restaurant, we had to eat from Sarabeth and McDonald's. I think this hotel was just made carelessly. I do not ever recommend this. The bananas were also rotten.

A modern and comfortable option in a busy part of Manhattan. Room was modest sized, but very adequate with comfortable seating and usable workstation area. Checkout time as late as 1pm was a nice plus. The only quibble is the rather uninspiring "continental breakfast" served in the lobby, but there is a good breakfast restaurant a half block away if something more substantial is desired.

I travel plenty and have been to fancy and large 4 star hotels and I have to say that the service here impresses me more in comparison. They are one of few hotels who seem to be properly staffed and trained. Each person from housecleaning to front desk to breakfast bar is super attentive to their guests. This level of service stands out to me most. Besides that, cleanliness, the room balcony, breakfast and 24/7 snack bar, rooftop, and convenient and safe location are noteworthy. I’d recommend staying here.
