Nice hotel in a turisty area on a beautiful beach
The hotel is right across the road from Eagle beach. The hotel has beach chairs that you can use on the beach but it is a public beach so the palapas is for everyone to use. Be there early cause people reserve chairs early. The rooms are bigish and has a small kitchen which is nice though it is expensive on the island. Nice to be able to make your own breakfast. There is a large food store just a few hundred meters away (walkable). It is a very turisty area. Do you like that this is the place for you. The beach is lovely. I liked the hotel but the area is to turisty for me. Good to have a car to be able to explore the island.

Yes, we do offer complimentary beach chairs to our lovely guests but the beach palapas are public and therefore, it is recommendable to reserve yours early. Välskött hotell med perfekt läge vid stranden.
Vi hade några fantastiska dagar. Stor och välutrustad lägenhet med två sovrum och balkong med utsikt över stranden och solnedgången. Mycket tillmötesgående personal. Stranden var underbar med stora palapas att få skugga under. Stor mataffär en kort promenad bort.

It is a great hotel for families. Lovely rooms with kitchens and beautiful view of the beach and water. They have a kiddie pool for small children. The beach is so close with so many amenities. They provide lots of shady spots on the beach.

The resort was nice and close to the beach. The room were cleaned everyday. The staff and front desk were super nice and helpful. The resort has a phone app you can download and make requests on. The requests were completed in less than an hour. The beach was nice and clean. Excursions were available. Passions on the beach had amazing drinks. Overall loved our stay!!

The pictures does this property no justice. I was in awe at how beautiful this property was. We did arrive earlier than our check in time but staff allowed us to change our clothes, put our bags up, gave us complimentary rum which, oh the RUM was PUNCHING us too (haha) and we were able to enjoy the beach until check in. Everything is so convenient and in walking distance. There’s two restaurants associated with the property, one on the beach called Passions on the beach and Horizons which is located on the property. Our room had a fresh fruit platter which I thought was fake! Our second day there we realized it was real. The property is well kept, housekeeping comes everyday, everyone was super niceeeeee! I am definitely coming back

Excellent location to Eagle Beach, with a wonderful restaurant on the beach "Passions". The property is halfway between the high-rise hotels, Palm Beach and the downtown. The local grocery store, Super Foods, is 2 blocks behind the hotel which is super convenient. Friendly staff, clean rooms all with a kitchen and refrigerator.

The beach setup at this resort is outstanding with great food, fast services, shower and bathroom amenities including drinkable filtered water fountain. During our visit in early April 2024, all four beach attendants - Samuel, Jenrich, Hebreux and Scott – were or continue to be wonderful. These gentlemen are reliable, polite, pleasant and patient, particularly with many many visitors who didn't want to pay to rent the chairs and parasols yet didn't want to leave for other seating areas. To recognize beach attendants for their work, we are explicitly posting our appreciation for them on Expedia site. Please look for them if you visit Eagle beach and Amsterdam Manor. We always recommend our friends and contacts to select Amsterdam Manor as the resort to stay at in Aruba. Amsterdam Manor staff are multilingual, helpful and kind. As for the resort itself, it is beautifully renovated and modern. We hope to return to Amsterdam Manor again in 2025. We lost track in terms of the number visits to Amsterdam Manor, but believe at least 20 to 25 times for more than 10 days.

I loved the Netherlands style look of the building and the property was so manicured and clean! We absolutely loved the staff! Jennifer was amazing! As well as Chris and Patrick. The rum punch I received at arrival was delicious also! The cleaning staff was also amazing the room was super clean! The only thing I would say is the shower should have a door so all the water doesn’t come out, also the hot water does not warm up in the shower like it does in the sink. And just to add a body length mirror in the room. That’s the only thing I would change other than that it’s amazing!

We loved the location on Eagle Beach. It was easy to walk to area restaurants. The beach is beautiful and we also loved the walking path which we utilized every morning. Our room was comfortable and had a kitchenette which was handy. We also utilized the on site restaurants which we enjoyed.

Amazing beach, clean rooms, and nice dining/bar options. Close to supermarket. Checked in easily. Beach had music, loungers, and wave runner rentals nearby. Kitchen had supplies. Eagle beach is quiet and the property is fresh. Every once in a while, the water treatment facility puts an odor out that isn’t great.

What a perfect stay at Amsterdam Manor we had. My family of five enjoyed the close proximity (literally steps away) from one of the most beautiful beaches in the world in Eagle Beach. This is the 3rd time staying at this property. Very Clean and very well maintained. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Convenient walk to the beach and walking trail that runs all down the beach. A lot more restaurants in this low rise end than before. We really enjoyed that aspect. Also close to a grocery store. Warning...There is a strong sewage smell at times outside. We didn't notice it in the room, but if the wind is right it's a strong smell and you can smell it even on the beach. It's not the resorts issue, but an Aruba services issue. We just stayed on the beach. It can be an issue if you want to sit outside at the resort or use the pool area. It just depends on the wind. There are times we didn't smell it, but other times it was really bad. We would still stay at the resort. One more issue was around 3:30pm they want you to move out of their way to set up for sunset dinners at their beach restaurant. We graciously moved our lounge chairs closer to the water, but it is annoying that they basically force you to move.

The Amsterdam Manor is an exceptionally well run, clean, and in an absolutely beautiful location across from Eagle beach. The hotel personnel are fantastic and attend to any issue or request. The on site restaurants are great and the ease of access to stores and other important services is exceptional. Overall, the hotel is one of the best I've visited.

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and we enjoyed every second. The oceanfront view was beautiful and our stay was relaxing. Our studio room had plenty of space for the both of us. The only thing we didn’t like was how the shower had no door. It was a bit hard trying to keep the floor dry when we showered because the water was just sprinkling onto the floor.

Nice property with easy access to the beach across the street. "Passions on the Beach" was very nice especially at sunset, the food was excellent. The rooms were nice and cleaned each day. No entertainment on the property and the pool was nice but small with no thrills. There was a strong smell from the waste treatment center behind the resort for the whole week we were there.

It’s a great property from r someone looking for a quiet getaway. Right across the street from a beautiful sand beach - chairs, shade, and towels are all taken care of. Beautiful clean pool, well landscaped property. The staff are great! Jennifer at the front desk s an excellent concierge. Also the room was well equipped with all your needs - drying racks for wet suits, toiletries, coffee maker with abundant pods, fridge and plates. There’s a grocer store with liquor up the street so we stocked up with snacks and drinks. Two onsite bars and restaurants are great too. You can’t beat this location.

We are reaching out with disappointment and concern about a fraudulent charge of $731.60 (Room Inclusive Tax - placed on the account 2-23-24) applied to our reservation - Confirmation: 145708744 Expedia Itinerary: 72751249055215 We spoke with manager Juan Carlos on 2/24/24 at the check out desk prior to leaving on Saturday, 2/24/24 and he verbally promised us, with two other colleagues present as witnesses, that he would release the charge once we contacted Expedia. We received communication from Expedia today 2/25/24 indicating that Amsterdam Manor was contacted and refused to release the Room Inclusive Tax. Please see the history of our communication with Expedia and Amsterdam Manor requesting change of reservation: 2-6-24 Contacted Expedia to change reservation, informed us to contact resort directly 2-6-24 Contacted Amsterdam Manor via phone - unable to make contact anyone 2-7-24 Received confirmation message from Amsterdam Manor via Expedia confirming reservation 2-7-24 Replied to the Amsterdam confirmation message requesting to change the reservation - NO RESPONSE RECEIVED 2-7 to 2-14 Made several phone call attempts to contact Amsterdam manor - NO RESPONSE 2-14-24 Received message from Amsterdam via Expedia (Please see attachment) 2-14-24 Responded to the message requesting to change the reservation - NO RESPONSE RECEIVED 2-20-24 Arrived in Aruba and contacted Amsterdam Manor by phone - no answer

Eagle Beach is wonderful - steps from our room, a 1 BR Suite that woud rate as an excellent 1 bedroom apartment in any major US city.

The hotel was great overall. The grounds, the food, drinks, room, beach, staff were all amazing! BUT, just something to be aware of there is a WASTEWATER TREATMENT plant about 1,000ft away. We smelt raw sewage for 4 out of 5 days of our stay, which was a real bummer. It's all about the wind direction. We were downwind for most of our stay. The first 2 days the smell was pretty bad. When you open your door in the morning it was like hitting a wall of sewage smell. Such a bummer. Of course, there is nothing the hotel can do about it. I'm not sure I would stay there again because of that. You have this beautiful paradise hotel, and we smelled raw sewage for most of our stay, even on the beach... ugh.. Even at Dinner. We had this beautiful dinner on the beach and smelt sewage the whole time. My only complaints about the hotel itself, not a big deal, the pillows were terrible and no beach servers, need to go to the bar. again, no big deal. If you do stay here you need to make the dinner reservations weeks in advance. It books out.

We received a very warm welcome from the front desk staff as soon as we stepped out of our taxi. We were offered water and welcome drinks. We arrived prior the check in time so we could keep our luggage secure at the front desk and went to the Eagle beach which is just steps away from the beach resort. The location of the property is perfect. We were eligible for an Expedia VIP property upgrade, however, we were not able to take advantage of it due to lack of availability. Nonetheless, our renovated manor studio on the ground floor offered everything we needed for our stay. The room was very clean and well equipped. For a studio it was still spacious enough not to trip over one another - smart layout! We also had a table and chairs available in front of our studio. We visited Aruba to celebrate my birthday and the resort staff surprised me with balloons and sparkling wine on the day of my birthday! We dined at the Passions restaurant located across the street at the beach, such a special place to celebrate and the food was excellent! The resort also has a poolside Horizons bar with great food and drinks and happy hours every night! The front desk staff was so helpful with everything - from calling taxis or setting us up for a sail and snorkel tour (highly recommended). My husband and I cannot thank enough the team at Amsterdam Manor - Jennifer, Julio, Patrick and other team members and housekeeping - for making our vacation memorable. We hope to return to Amsteram Manor!

Love the location and Eagle beach is beautiful. Didn’t enjoy the smell of sewage you would get a lot of the time. Staff very friendly & Passions restaurant food excellent although was uncomfortable sitting at an angle in the sand. Didn’t like that we had to get up at crack of dawn to save seats under umbrellas. Would like to be able to reserve them in advance. Would love for you to bring back breakfast Buffet at Mangos. Housekeeping staff excellent. Will stay again.

It was quiet not crowded could easily be accommodated at the beach with chairs and umbrellas at any time. Staff were great.
