“The apartment itself was well-maintained, clean, and had all basic amenities from kitchenware to toiletries. It has a very cabin-y feel and definitely made every one in the group feel at home. We didn't feel very safe at night in the area, outside the apartment though. Apartment itself does feel secure and we didn't actually witness anything shady happen. But if you're travelling with family, I'd recommend staying alert.”

“Overall had a nice stay at this apartment. Here are a few inaccuracies, though, that made a difference for my family: the listing says first floor but this is on the 3rd floor, there was no coffee maker, and there was no twin futon (only two loveseat couches). Also, only 2 rolls of toilet paper for 6 guests for 3 nights. Otherwise the apartment was clean and spacious and had most other amenities you would need! Neighborhood was great and there was lots of parking available.”

“We loved The Mountain House - the location worked perfectly and the accommodations were great. Only slight negative was the winding staircase...which is pretty tight and could be difficult for those who aren't as mobile. But it all worked out fine for us.”

“Spent 2 nights here while attending a wedding in the area. It’s on the same property as the Minerals Hotel, which was huge for us because we needed the shuttle to the wedding at Grand Cascades. Property is pet friendly, and we traveled with our dog, so that was one of our biggest selling points. The owner was lovely to work with, and the house was clean, modern and comfortable. There were some lovely little extras like individually wrapped muffins as part of the fully stocked coffee bar, and...

We would stay here again… and honestly the place design was better than listed. However there can be improvement in cleanliness and few hardware features of the place.”

“We stayed here for a weekend getaway to play golf some of the many golf courses in the neighborhood. The unit was spacious. It has 2 levels, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It was very clean upon arrival. The host also left us a large basket of snacks which was a nice treat. There was also outdoor seating on both levels to enjoy. I would definitely recommend this property and would stay again if I am back in the area.”

“We really enjoyed our stay here and ease with which we were able to get to and from the city! The home was clean, contained all listed amenities and more. The host was extremely generous with starting supplies such as coffee so there was no immediate rush run out once we arrived. Helpful tip, if ordering Uber , it’s quickest to order from the Starbucks as that is where they will go anyway. The street was quiet, the area safe, and so easy to get to the city!”

“We’ve stayed at a few condos in the past but Kirk and Melissa’s is my fav! Everything is decorated so beautiful and it was so clean! Having a fridge is always a huge plus! The view from the balcony is lovely! Parking is convenient and it was so quiet! We look forward to staying again! ”

“My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights. This is such a cute and cozy place! Just like the pictures. In a beautiful neighborhood that is close to everything. We always felt safe, even walking around at night. So many restaurants within walking distance and very easy access to NYC. AJ was definitely awesome to work with. We would highly recommend this place. We will absolutely book again when we go back this year!”
