The cottage was lovely. It had everything you needed. The beach just 2 minutes down the road was brilliant. I took my dogs and they loved it. The people of Bacton were very friendly too

Great location!
We really loved our stay here. Perfect for morning dog walks along the beach, and longer walks along coastal paths. The house is really nice and good communication from the hosts.

Lovely Cottage and Great Location
Lovely little cottage in a great location. 2-3 min walk from Bacton beach which is really pretty and quiet. Great for walks (with or without a dog). Perfect base location for other popular places like Cromer and Sheringham (30 min drive). Thank you, we would definitely stay again.

Lovely stay
Had a lovely time at the cottage in Bacton. Great base for visiting Norfolk. Host was very helpful and a lovely touch leaving us a bottle of fizz our Birthdays. Cottage is very quaint. Some little visitors in the loft i could hear at night, ear plugs in no problem. Ideal for a short stay. Gorgeous beach 2 mins away.

Beautiful little cottage
This was a walking weekend by the sea. Three friends and their dogs. Location is excellent and the beaches are beautiful. The cottage has everything you need and was cosy and warm to come home to after a day of walking. Will definitely be back

Lovely cottage
Great place to stay, perfect base near to the beach. Everything you need is provided but no DVD player, couldn’t find it as part of the TV but it did say there was one. All you need in the kitchen but the roasting trays were very dirty and had to wash first. Amenities all close by and would stay again as the garden was nice and secure for the dogs 🐶

Lovely cottage. Wifi for Firestick not strong enough. A few cobwebs here and there. Had a lovely bbq in the garden. Be careful when pulling out drawers in kitchen. Caught our heads a few times going out of the kitchen and into the garden. Thoroughly enjoyed stay

4 Keswick Cottages
Great location, sweet cottage and we enjoyed our week there. However, it does have drawbacks. The steep narrow stairs are unsuitable for elderly or infirm guests. The ageing thatched roof means that rodents in the roof keep one awake at night. The plug in the bath was broken so we could only shower not bathe. The WC did not flush properly with one pull. Needs attention. Both of these issues were explained to the owner at the start of our holiday but no action offered other than it would be resolved at the end of our stay. Not good and unprofessional.

Perfect stay
Perfect location and a lovely little cottage . A short 5 minute walk to the beach which we loved especially our dog Florence. The cottage is very comfy. We had a couple of minor problems but they were very quickly rectified by owner Diane who replied to us within minutes. The bed was comfy and a quaint little window in the bedroom added to the character. The stairs although a little tricky are part of the quirkiness of the cottage. The garden is lovely and secure for dogs and its lovely to watch all the butterflies. The location itself is a really good base to get around from .Bacton woods are a 5 min drive away and worth a visit although I recommend the all trails app to follow for the circular route as its not very well sign posted. The ship inn and the lighthouse inn are both lovely . The poachers pocket has a nice view and is great to have a drink but the food is not brilliant. Carmel cafe 5 minutes up the road is a lovely vegan cafe and the staff are lovely and so is the food. Overall we had a fantastic stay. The weather was perfect and we were sorry to come home. We would definitely return again.

Perfect little Cottage
The owner are very friendly and helpful. The cottage self was clean, perfectly suited and really cute. The locals are friendly. The beach was amazing… quite not to busy and off course beautiful. Spotted a few seals. Will definitely go again.

Super cottage and location
We've had a super stay in your lovely cottage. Everything is clean and fresh. We wouldn't of known dogs were allowed. The cottage contained everything for our holiday. The location is perfect. It's peaceful, close to supermarkets (local Premium store has lovely bread from Cromer), and only 4 minutes from the beach (on the way, one of the houses sells home made jams, etc... we couldn't get enough of the marmalade) and wow, what a beach. We were on it everyday. Thank you Diana for letting us stay and enabling us having a super holiday

Cosy cottage a stone's throw from the sea
We had a lovely stay at the cottage, it's so close to the sea, literally at the end of the road which is fantastic if you have kids as you can pop down and pop back to the house very easily. Cosy, warm, comfortable and a short distance to lots of family-friendly attractions. Highly recommend.

Adorable cottage, perfect for kids
We loved this cottage for our family holiday to Bewilderwood, the Broads and Roarr. Hosts have considered everything and are very responsive. Loved having a home to return to, as opposed to a hotel room. Not for anyone with accessibility issues and beds could be more comfortable, but fantastic value. Also, Bacton can feel isolated (eg, no shops), which was the draw for us...

A gorgeous cottage (though be a little wary through doorways!) so tremendously close to a wonderful sandy beach (open entirely to dogs from October to April) Very dog friendly inside and out, can’t recommend enough. Thank you!

The mix up in properties wasn't a good start to our holiday , especially when we stated this property isn't what we booked Having unpacked and gone out to dinner to have a phone call to move. more than unhappy to have re- pack and move on to our booked cottage But it was a beautiful cottage well equipped amazing secure gardens

Amazing location in a lovely little cottage

Lovely cosy cottage right by the beach
This is a lovely character cottage in a great location for the beach. You can unload in front of the property and the parking space is only a few minutes walk away - it didn’t prove an issue for us at all. The cottage is well equipped with lots of homely touches. Our two loved the steep stairs and there is a clever gate at the top to keep everyone safe. Would recommend for a beach holiday.

Beautiful thatched cottage in a perfect location with all you would need to make your holiday stay comfortable. A few minutes walk to the beach. Local pub 5 min walk away along the beach or main road. Excellent vegan cafe in the village of Bacton 5 min walk along main street.

Excellent location, Quaint cottage
We enjoyed our stay in the cottage very much and its location near to the the lovely sandy beach with a short walk to a reasonable pub for food. We spend a week in the area every week as we used to live in the area and this year rated highly. The cottage also has a good garden which was good for us and our dog. The only downside was the steep stairs to the down stairs bathroom when using the loo at night but in-spite of that we would probably use it again

Ideal place for the beach
The cottage was nicely situated for the beach and most amenities are only a short walk away the garden was a quite space with a mixture of full sun and shady places to sit the beach was a lovely sandy place to sit or walk the dog with all the local shops being dog friendly it made for a much better holiday knowing we could take the dog anywhere we went .We would definitely come back again

Good choice
It is always a bit of a lottery when choosing holiday accommodation but I'm happy to say that this property proved a good choice. Clean, well equipped and conveniently located, it had everything we needed. The stairs to the bedrooms being steep and narrow as described in the property details, were a little challenging for people like ourselves, past the first flush of youth, shall I say, but with care, were manageable. Bacton itself, is perfect for people who want to get away to a place totally uncommercialized. Great beach and just the right amount of facilities regards catering requirements. An enjoyable break.

Parking is 4 minutes walk. Had complaints when tried to park in street near property. Heating poor
OK but bit expensive for small cottage with no parking near and heating either too cold or to hot. Broadband poor also. Issue parking

Thank you for your comments. As there is limited roadside parking near the cottage we provide guests with free off-road parking a short walk away. I am sorry the heating was not always to your comfort, it is difficult to get it just right with the variable Spring weather but additional heaters are provided in the cottage if required. Perfect
The accommodation has everything any one would need. Idyllically quaint cottage. A 2 minute walk to the beach, a 5 minute walk to the dog friendly pub and a 7 minute walk to the fish n chip shop! A great base for exploring Norfolk inland and the wonderful coast. We managed to park the car further down Keswick Road. You can leave the car parked up and walk in either direction on the coast. We loved our stay and WILL be returning!
