It was good. Breakfast was small but good. The real disappointment was Fox News on the main tv in the breakfast area. In these times, public places should really have more neutral programs on the main televisions. I would have asked to change it if we stayed longer. Otherwise all was great.

Staff were pleasant and helpful. The room was updated and clean. The pool area was well maintained. Plenty of dining options clise by. Short drive to downtown La Crosse. Would definitely stay here again.

Listed online as pool and hot tub and the hot tub had been removed months in advance of our stay. So it was sad to not have what we were looking for in our stay... honeatly would have booked elsewhere to have a hot tub. The rest of the stay was good, average to slightly above.

Every time we walked into the room, we could smell old cigarette smoke. Also there was no milk offered at breakfast but we’ve run into no milk before for continental breakfast at other places.

The staff was friendly. Breakfast was good. The only thing we found as a problem, was we called the hotel directly to book a room and save you guys money, asked for a room for the weekend and were told all booked. But when we went online to expedia.com, we were able to book a room right away.

It really is a great hotel. If you are looking for a place to stay in the area, give this one a try. My only complaint is that they told me upon check in that they don't normally take locals or any residents living within a 40 mile radius which I found odd. Was told that it's company policy. I live just one town over and needed a room for one night. I was told that they would let it slide since I had already paid and it's only for one night. Strange. Other than that, it's a great hotel.

My go to hotel
I always stay at this comfort inn when I stay in Onalaska. It is always clean and quiet. This time I was put into room 139 which is right by the breakfast room. The room was fine but so noisy. I was able to move on second day but this room is in a very bad location

It looks and smelled like it was recently remodeled. The bathrooms are in dire need of towel bars, ours had none, just a hook on the back of the door. Also the tub drain was very slow, maybe a hair ball, making the tub become slippery.
