“We were able to check in at a later time and had someone greet us at the office. The office management was kind and friendly. The cleaning lady was also really nice and understand. We stayed two nights and had no issues. Highly recommend. The only thing we didn’t really enjoy was the running water for the shower. It made a funny noise when you first turn on the water. Overall, nice place to stay. ”

“The cabin was beautiful and newly renovated. We took a day trip up for the solar eclipse and it was excellent, the owners were very kind and quick to help out in anyway possibe. They even pointed us to a perfect viewing area and loaned us some chairs to make the viewing more comfortable. It was a great overall stay and experience. I highly recommended staying here.”

“We love staying here when we come to Mt. Ida to dig crystals! Super cute little cabin, very clean and comfy. Close to town, but far enough out so it feels like the country. It has a glorious wrap around deck with a nice Blackstone grill that overlooks the woods and a nice firepit. There is a cabin next door, but it's not close enough to be bothersome. We will definitely be back!”

“So much more than the listing shows! We enjoyed the hot tub under the stars. The fire pit was a bonus as we enjoyed watching the sunset. The river access is amazing…enjoyed some fishing and the peace and quiet. We kicked it old school in the evening and watched some movies on dvd. Local Mexican restaurant and Fish Nest restaurant were good. A wonderful weekend of being unplugged and enjoying quality time together! We plan to be back!”

“Our stay at Gap Mercantile was amazing. The unique experience of staying in what was once part of a general store was like going back in time, but of course it had all the modern amenities. The owners were absolutely wonderful. They were helpful throughout the stay, and we ended up spending a couple of hours talking to them and hanging out in the store because they were just great people. “My son and I stayed for one night to head to a dirt bike race the next morning. The rental is located in a park of sorts. I was a bit confused finding our spot, but it worked out quickly.
