“We stay here every time we travel to the Outer Banks. It is a small older hotel. It is clean, the staff is friendly, breakfast is standard hotel breakfast, it is good always well stocked. This hotel is convenient to everything we enjoy while in the area. Close to good restaurant's. We will be back”

“Stayed one night at Pony Island Motel. Arrived late and called hotel we were going to be late and that we were three adults (as specified in booking). Had to find sheets and set up bed-sofa ourselves in the middle of the night. Not what you expect when paying 400/night for a room.”

“Small rooms but very efficient, clean and new. Parking tricky but manageable. Located on the highway but astonishingly quiet in the room. Easy walk to downtown.”

“We arrived around 8pm. The reception was already closed and we struggled to figure out how to get to our room. The apartment was ok. No luxury but clean and practical. The A/C unit situated in the living room struggled to cool down the bedroom at the back though. When going to bed we realized that despite the booking was made for 5 people (incl email conversations with hotel management about it) only four beds were made. No additional sheet available. “If you are looking for a posh place this is not it. It is a good basic place to stay. The room size is great and the room was clean. The bed was comfortable and the shower had good water pressure. We would stay there again.”

“ April 26-29 2024……Awesome beachfront!!! Staff cleaning up from prior weeks storm which washed sand dunes into parking lot…. Accommodations were made for parking. Staff was working to remedy situation. Restaurants a short walk and grocery stores and bait store nearby a short drive by car…our room was a king with kitchenette accessible by 2 flights of stairs…. No elevators….basic kitchen supplies… dishes… pots toaster and coffee makers kerig and standard… no cutting board…soap and dish towel...

“The management company, particularly Barbara, was very helpful and prompt in replying to all questions. Five stars for this! The house was spacious and accommodated our group of 13; however, the house is in need of updating. The dryer went out during our stay but was repaired but all appliances need to be upgraded. Pressure washing is needed for the exterior as we were unable to use the outdoor furniture due to the bird droppings and spider webs. Carpet is also in need of replacement. Although...
