“We did a last minute booking for this cottage (day before) in Julian, CA. It is very clean, quaint, & cozy. It had everything we needed and more. The kitchen was stocked with breakfast foods and snacks. There were movies to watch, a backyard grill, bathroom with any toiletries you may need, big comfortable bed. It was located just a short ride from main street Julian as well as San Ysabel. Close by to all hiking too. We enjoyed waking up to see the chickens, ducks and little pigs. Views outside...

“Moonrise Cottage is a perfect place to escape every day stress and chaos. The remote location is very quiet and worth the effort. Cottage itself has a an eclectic decorating style. It’s got everything you need. Heidi is a wonderful host. I had lots of questions about directions etc. to get there and she was very prompt in answering and very clear on how to get there. My wife and I plan to return to this oasis.”
