great little Motel for travelers. we stayed in the off season and just one night, but could see being comfortable for a longer stay.

The staff at Arbutus Grove made us feel very welcome, including our dog. They were very kind and considerate. Many dog-friendly motels get very strict when you mention you have a dog with you, and slam you with a long list of additional rules. Arbutus Grove welcomed our doggy with big smiles.

Very clean and recently & tastefully renovated. Easy access from main highway. Good coffee shop across the street and a Ricky’s all day grill nearby for breakfast, lunch,& dinner meal/snack options.

I will definitely stay here again. I love being able to pull up my vehicle right in front of the room door. I loved the modernity of the rooms interior. Everything was clean & lovely. The mattress was comfortable and the room spacious. The front desk folks were friendly & welcoming. I enjoyed my stay, thank you!

Good and comfortable stay
Great stay. I thought the adjacent highway would be a little noisy but not. Loved the leather armchairs to sit down and read with some GOOD light. Clean, full oven and microwave & fridge freezer. Owner operator doing a great job. Well done. No view from motel. On the other side of the highway from the motel a major local fire occurred in a commercial block of shops a couple of days previously. I am sure they will rebuild soon.

Great Place!
Very cute and clean motel with friendly service. We enjoyed the location (about a 4 minute drive from the main beach) and found the rooms spacious for our family of 4. The only down side was the air conditioner; if the weather was any hotter, we would have been uncomfortable as it was not working well. Overall, we would recommend and will stay here again.

I was worried about booking a motel, but the room was pristine, the man at the desk was absolutely amazing, and it was just very nice overall. Id stay there again in a heartbeat.
