“Luisa and Rubens were fantastic hosts, meeting us at the train on arrival and checking us in to their apartment. Communication was fantastic, they went out of their way to be helpful at all times, it was like staying with friends. The apartment is in a great location in the historic centre, accessible to public transport and walkable within the old city. There are supermarkets, cafes and lovely restaurants very close by. Perugia is a very lovely city. We stayed for eight weeks and loved it.”

“We had a wonderful time at this property. Everything was as described and the apartment was clean and comfortable and well stocked with basic amenities. It was located near to the centre of town and the bus station which made getting around quite easy. Andrea was very helpful and responsive when we needed his advice and even offered to drive us to the airport when it looked as if our taxi wasn't going to turn up. “We are Australians in Italy for the first time. We enjoyed our week in Perugia. No car so we walked along the country lane to catch a local bus into Centro, and walked uphill to town on several occasions. The artisanal pasticceria which Guiseppe will tell you about was worth multiple visits. Free Illy espresso with each purchase. Guiseppe was quick to respond to our messages and helpful with suggestions. His Gold Card was useful! Too cold for a swim, sadly, as the pool looked very inviting....

So sweet (but read if you have mobility issues)
"Breakfast sugar overdose, for sure. The hotel is conveniently located close to Perugia train station, but mind that the city center is 400mt elevated in relation to the hotel. I injured myself during the trip and had to move with crotches. This was a challenge, as Perugia is truly a hilly town. However, the hotel is very well connected by bus that takes you straight from the hotel door to several main squares of the city in 20 minutes. The staff was very very kind, in particular the staff working at the breakfast station. If you have a crave for sugar, this hotel will satisfy your needs. It does need to catch up with vegan options though. I found the room impeccably clean and cozy. Not the most sophisticated or contemporary, which I also do not enjoy. My bedroom was facing a road that gives access to the highway and still was rather quiet (in case you're noise sensitive consider asking for floor 2 or 3, facing backyard). There are two supermarkets 10 minutes walking distance from the hotel, in case you need them, as well as pharmacies. All and all, a nice staying with a fair price. I'm adding a photo of the swimming pool on the terrace (open until 19:30). Bring a cap if you want to dip."
