Front desk agent when we checked in was neither polite nor very attentive, did not get her name unfortunately. She was busy fixing her own car keys and let us wait until she thought she was done with that. "I will be be with you, I said" she said when we had waited and asked to check in.. Not a great impression. Rooms are dated and worn and did not live up to expectations for us. They were very clean though and AC worked well. Breakfast was great but service slow, we had to ask several times to order. Located perfectly by the boardwalk in central Philipsburg. Check out agent was very polite and friendly and made sure to go out of her way to get us a taxi to the Grand Case airport. She "saved" the hotel from a worse review. We only stayed for one night on our way to St Barths but would have been very disappointed if we were to spend our whole holiday there.

10 out of 10 - without a doubt
This hotel was really amazing!! I had read some positive reviews about this hotel already, but it was even better than I expected. Everything about this hotel was perfect. You get such good value for the money. Everything from the rooms that are spacious, to the fabulous breakfast, to the location on the beach, friendly waiters in the restaurant - everything was really really great! Highly recommend this hotel to everyone who plan to stay in St Martin in Philipsburg. Will definitley be back!!

Bra läge vid stranden och shoppingen
Halva hotellet öppet efter orkanen Irma, en del byggarbeten pågår i närheten ochpå hotellet så balkongen var inplastad. Bra läge vid stranden och shoppingen. Bra frukost med utsikt mot havet.

Kombo city- och strandhotell.
Hotellet ligger på huvudgatan i Philipsburg men även direkt på stranden. Prydligt strandområde med hotellets service i form av handdukar, solstolar och bar. Mycket bra restaurang med diverse rätter.

Utmärkt beachhotell
Om syftet är att ligga på stranden så är hotellet överlägset! Dock ligger mycket av kvällsaktiviteterna i ett annat område. Lätt att ta sig dit med buss, vilket är det billigaste alternativet (dock väldigt smidigt) annars är det taxi som gäller. Överlag väldigt nöjd med hotellet, service och maten på hotellet.

Prisvärt hotell på st Martin
Holland House är ett mycket prisvärt hotell i St Martin på den Holländskasidan av ön. Phillipsburg som Hotellet ligger i har bra shopping men det är ganska lugnt på kvällarna i området vart hotellet ligger i, nattlivet är på andra sidan ön. Hotellets rum är lite slitna men i bra skick trots detta. Hotellet ligger mer eller mindre på stranden och solstolar och handdukar ingår i hotellpriset. Hotellet har även en mycket trevlig resturang/lounge del som är en av de bästa på ön, även frukosten på hotellet håller hög kvalité. Personalen är även de hjälpsamma och hjälper till med att boka utflykter mm, kolla bara först hur mycket det tar i "provision" för att boka utflykter, ibland är det bättre att boka visa utflykter själv då detta inte är speciellt svårt och kan då bli bra mycket billigare än om hotellet gör det. Vi stannade 5 nätter på Holland house och vi skulle helt klart komma tillbaka om vi återvänder till St Martin.

Best Hotel on the island
We had a great stay at Holland House. The staff was service-oriented, friendly and the breakfast was great and good value for money. The view was breathtaking, and the private beach was beautiful. There is also a very nice ambience with the excellent outdoor restaurant, lounge and music. We especially enjoyed the drinks, don't miss "Francine's Kiss" if you visit. If there is anything to recommend as improvement, it's the upkeep of the corridors which are clean but rather worn. Also, the bathroom was renovated and very nice but it's appearance was better than the rest of the room - probably the next step in the renovation programme. However, all in all an excellent hotel which makes for a great stay!

I loved that it was right off the beach, very clean, and had activities. Didn’t have to travel anywhere for the water sports that I wanted to do. The rooms are nice and comfy as well.

Bad communication had early checkin and did not get to room till three did not feel welcome young intern was nice but everyone else not so towel girl rude man in lobby was not nice my husbands soda accidently leaked in his bag and was told he was making a mess breakfast lady was nice Beach was not clean we were coming from the divi bay and it was A totally different experience they went above and beyond and always were so nice I would not recommend this hotel Also it smelled like marijuana in the lobby both days we did not feel safe at all

We loved staying at Holland Beach House, rooms are spacious everything is clean. Very friendly staff!! The restaurant on premises was excellent. Clean beach with comfortable chairs and umbrellas. There’s not much to do in the area after 5pm everything closes early however if you have a car the hotel is conveniently located to both sides of the island. No more then 25 minutes to French side or to Maho beach area.

The staff was so friendly and helpful. All the people at the Holland House and the Dutch side of St Martaan are the same-friendly. You can feel safe while shopping and walking the boardwalk along side of the ocean. Quit spectacular.

The most beautiful property in the area, excellent staff, close to everything, lovely beach. The beds were absolutely the most comfortable bed we have ever experienced in a hotel, the bedding excellent, we even went online and purchased the blanket/coverlet that was on the bed for our house!

Great location on the beach. Hotel staff is very accommodating and pleasant. Quaint, clean and neat. I didn’t like the air freshener smell from the AC and in the hallway, it was too much. Like heavily perfumed dryer sheets/detergent.

Whenever we cruise out or into Sint Maarten, we stay at Holland House. With the beach and boardwalk on one side and front street and shopping out their front door, the location is ideal. The staff are wonderful. We love coming back time after time and greeting familiar faces.

The Holland House was a very lovely spot. It had a great beach and the location in Philipsburg was very good. We enjoyed the breakfasts and the restaurant was great for dinner as well.
