“The property is nestled in the Medina mountains in an 11 room resort and spa. The owners met with us each night sharing stories, laughs, wine and food. In the morning we hiked up the mountain trail to a cabin with a back deck that overlooked the hillside. If you want peace, quiet, no children and good old fashion conversation you will not find any better than Escondida Resort. The entire staff is humble, courteous and good people to share a cup of coffee or a laugh. I highly recommend this...

“The hotel is beautiful and very nicely located. It has a lot of wonderful amenities and is surprisingly very quiet. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the room was very comfortable and a nice size. Upon arrival we discovered the only kind of parking was valet which was $39 dollars a day. That was a bit off putting. I also booked this as a hotel stay not realizing this is a time share property. Where were taken to a desk to try to sign us up for a presentation and tour. Which we...
