Our room was large and very bright. Bed was comfortable and the hotel was quiet. Good selection of breakfast items. We would definitely stay there again.

It isn’t a bad place to stay but they need to provide extra bath towels. They could improve the lighting- it is hard to put on make up. Other than that I have no complaints.

Thank you for the review. Sorry there were not enough towels, you could of just asked the front desk to get you some extra towels. The front desk agent is there to serve you. I am sorry to also here that the lighting was dim. We try to keep the lightbulbs new to give the most light.

It was perfect for our stay. We were in town to visit some people who live nearby. And there was a Starbuck's within walking distance, although we did enjoy the breakfast that was served there at the hotel.

This is Holiday Inn Express is a reasonable option for anyone staying in the south Pittsburgh area, as it is not far from the Bridgeville/South Hills area and direct access to I-79 with only about 15 min to downtown PGH and ~20 min to the airport (less during off hours). The property is as expected and rooms are generally clean (except for the bathrooms needing more attention to mold/mildew and toilet cleaning). Staff are fine and helpful when anything is needed.

The lady at the front desk was wonderful. Mae was her name. She noticed i use a cane and offered a room with a walk-in shower. Very sweet of her, and it made my stay all the better. Thank you Mae.

Great service, clean
Stayed during inclement weather, hotel is always very clean with helpful staff. No issues or concerns during stay. Ratings were for their category of hotel and not an overall comparison to all hotels.

The stay was a good one until the following morning. They placed me in a room next to the front desk and housekeeping office. The people were so loud at 8 in the morning. I could hear their whole conversation. No respect for sleeping people.

My sister and I got a room that had a walk in shower… absolutely terrible…. Floor got wet, not enough towels, hardly any water pressure and to top it all off it was a hand held shower.

Overpriced Motel
Customer service was very nice here but I was very disappointed in the hotel. I’ve stayed at Holiday Inn Express before and this one just did not seem to even be in the same category. From the paper signs in the elevator to the dove dispensers in the bathrooms-nothing against dove, but that’s what I would expect from motel rooms. As a woman, when I travel for work, I need to be able to get ready efficiently in the room and absolutely nothing seemed to be well thought out or accommodating to those needs starting with the most minimal counter space in the bathroom I’ve ever seen. There is no room to even rest the blow dryer on the counter if you need it and have your toiletries/makeup/hair products out while you get ready. The ONE hook in the bathroom was wobbly and ready to come off. The towel racks were not placed out properly for one to grab them conveniently from the sink-maybe it was just my room??? But it seemed like NO logical thought was given for a plethora of guest(s) convenience and it was maddening when you have to get ready outside of your routine and have a time constraint. It was grossly overpriced for this level of frustration and I wouldn’t stay here again. If you’re staying here to just rest your head and then be off in a vehicle all day with no other agenda, then this is a high priced motel option.

The room was not clean. The toilet had deification in it. The toilet was stopped up. The staff came with a plunger. This was unacceptable. The room was never cleaned prior to my family checking in. We requested a room change. As an IGH member, I Was sadden.

The hotel it self was nice. The location of my room and having the check in and lobby right outside your room wasn’t very pleasant. We heard everything. The talking at night and early morning wasn’t very pleasant either. If you’re on a different floor or down from the lobby that would be best. Overall hotel was nice and clean.

Everything is good here just two things I would like to mention. One is sink in the main room is really odd and the soap/shampoo dispenser is not in comfortable hight. Specially for short people .
