Very poor service
The majority of the front desk staff at the hotel were rude and unprofessional to say the least. Not willing to help at all and seemed bothered when you would ask them a question. Did not even feel like I was staying at a hotel due to this unprofessional behavior. The hotel itself was in much need of renovation and was very outdated. The rooms were not fresh at all, with mold in the bathroom and paint falling off the walls. Did not even want to take my shoes off in the room. The complimentary breakfast was a joke as well and the area around the breakfast was not very fresh and did not make the little food that was there appetizing at all. Air conditioning and refrigerator were noisy and it was hard to sleep with them on. There were also always food smells coming from somewhere on the floor I was staying that eventually got into me room and into some of my clothes.

Mother's Day weekend was enjoyable in Pittsburgh and staying at Microtel was affordable for my budget. I booked on Expedia and the Microtel was a good place to stay. It was in a shopping area location near the Pittsburgh Airport. My room was clean, and everything was working properly. There was a light breakfast free of charge, which included bagels, waffles, yogurt, cereals, oatmeal packets, and apples. I am happy with my stay and hope to stay again in September during a wedding weekend in Pittsburgh.

it's okay. Breakfast isn't even good. No bottled water in the room. A/C rattles a bit and the lightning are not flattering at all but its warm and safe

We checked into our room and everything seemed fine until I accidentally knocked over a box of opener tissues and found a needle inside. We took it down to the front desk and they just said sorry one time and continued with their conversation. The sheet material made parts of my skin breakout and there was a weird stain on the window seat. All hotels are required to change out tissue boxes if they are open and I can understand if it was an accidental mistake but making it seem like finding a needle in the room was ok is what I can’t get passed

Called before booking and inquired whether they still had the shuttle service to the airport and was told yes. Was not told it was 20 per passenger or if you were leaving your vehicle at the hotel it was 65. It was free a year and a half ago. Won't go back

The only thing I was unhappy with was that when I stayed there in Oct the shuttle was $5 a person and this time they charged me $10. That's quite excessive, I think. Next time I'll opt for more room and a free shuttle.
