“Mattress could use some attention. ”

“The hotel could use an update. Also extra fees galore, fees for food that you didn’t know was going to be on the bill and if you don’t use it you lose it and still have to pay. Seems illegal to do this”

“Possibly the only hotel in that area where you can have a really good meal on top of having a good and clean room. The gym is fine and options for snacks or better are good too. This is a good hotel - happy to come back if work puts me in Portland again”

“The location was nice and quiet, considering it's in a busier area. The riverview was nice and the trail next to it was lovely. The room itself was disappointing because it really wasn't very clean. For the price and the type of hotel it is, I really expected more cleanliness. The windows were filthy and I don't mean a little dirt, I mean so filthy they obstructed the views. The pull-out sofa sleeper was full of crumbs and wrappers from the previous occupants. The kitchenette was dingy with...

“Rooms and property look recently renovated. Our suite was "huge" and had everything. We really liked the complimentary beverage and snack in the evening plus buffet breakfast. Pool was great too!”

“The room here was very nice and clean and we liked being able to sit in the beautiful library section of the lobby while doing some computer work during our stay. The parking garage was also conveniently located and there were lots of options for cute coffee shops nearby. ”

“We've been to the area many times and never have stayed at the Hyatt Place. In the past it was overpriced and we've stayed at the Residence Inn down the street many times. This time as we checked ahead of time the Hyatt was cheaper. We were pleasantly surprised about everything at this hotel and will stay here again and maybe even if its price is close to the Residence Inn. Very nice place all around. The breakfast bar was one of the best we've had!!!”
